As a proud supporter it's too early to be considering sacking Griffin. I get why they want a change, but I feel the consequences of having a transition of coaches during the season will be far more disastrous than if we keep him on.
I agree that the lack of assertive leadership of the Dragons board is a major reason to why we are in this mess, but to be honest to say I have a answer to solve this problem would be a lie, I believe that the Dragons will get out of this mess and start winning games agin, but only time will tell.
Also with Suaali moving to Rugby, as a proud Waratahs and Wallabies supporter as well, I'm conflicted on the matter, and if Penisini and Murray also go to Rugby than I'll also be conflicted as while I'd be happy that we'll have more players available to play for Waratahs and the Wallabies.
I'd also be annoyed for the hard working Rugby players that are already playing for the Waratahs and Wallabies for less money mind you, as they could be wrongfully overlooked for these players, but as I've said before if Suaali and any other player that switches codes become superstars worth every penny they're paid and who win us games I'm all for it, but like with the former matter, only time will tell if the risk or future risks from Rugby Australia and NSW Rugby will pay off for us in the long run.
It is the fault of the boards (st George and Illawarra ) respectively when appointing people particularly coaches they need to make these decisions in unison
Riccio is a moron, he acts like an expert critic, but could you even imagine him passing a football?
I love how it's not the players that take the field that wins a game but instead it's the bloke who's sitting in a room in the grandstand that wins it instead
firstly they NEVER should have hired him in the first place, they have good players but they need an exceptional coach
Mediocre coaches get mediocre results
Shittest coach ever in the history of NRL.
