  1. I work at a warehouse and some days I be coming home from work too sore (from the gym night before + work day) and I just have to take a day off.

    Sucks but it needs to be done, take care of your body

  2. Take rest days, guys. I was planning to take couple rest days after next week, since I started to have pain in my upper back and feel sore all the time. And 2 days ago it blow up I have this serious pain at the end of my shoulder blade. Probably will have to skip the gym for 2 weeks at least. Pain is a signal our body is trying to inform us. Recovery is important.

  3. Personally I train whenever without a set schedule because I have a minimalistic home gym.
    Upper lower split, alternating between the two with a rest day in between. Sometimes that may be two if work or life gets in the way.
    It's pretty nice.

  4. Do you really think people have such a big problem excusing themselves for one rest day? People need to feel more like lazy shit, not less

  5. Hey justin, so im in the middle of my school research and i haven't worked out a lot(once a week of exercise atm) and on my free time im feeling exhausted mentally and dont wanna go to the gym. Just asking for advice on how to overcome this laziness

  7. I do it all the time if I don’t get enough rest or I’m too sore it’s a mandatory rest day, over training will actually lead to less gains and you will also be more prone to injury it’s just not worth it

  8. Just took a week (5days) off the gym as I was on holiday I’m how much my strength has decreased over that period 🙁

  9. I notice, for me anyways, that random rest days after going hard at the gym consistently for a while, actually helps me because I return feeling stronger usually

  10. Random rest day? I’d take a random arm day😤(I train around 3-4 x a week so to give my arms some more love an arm day is a good option, plus I rest enough in my week)
