The trail arm plays a crucial role in the golf swing, yet many amateur players get it wrong.
The proper action of your arm get your club on plane, creates forward shaft lean at impact, and ensures you rotate through the shot for maximum power.
In today’s lesson we’ll look at the correct motion of the trail arm, and I’ll give you a great drill to help you out in your golf swing.

Wow… you described my problem perfectly. Now, can I learn a new habit? Thanks!
Your best video yet…the true secret of golf from TGM
Great Video Zach. I have your blueprint subscription. Question – As we come into impact with bent right elbow, should we be flapping wrists through the ball or using a rollover release for power. There is a lot of misinformation about this subject. Some instructors (ala Steve Pratt) claim there is no power in a body motion release with passive hands and if you don't use the hands you'll never hit the ball anywhere. He claims this is how 5'2 LPGA stars can bomb it 300 yards. However, Alex Noren is famous for exaggerating the drill in your video (especially on the follow-through, but without the belt) and he also seems to have very passive/inactive hands through impact for a stable clubface (he also hits the ball over 300 yards). Would love your input since you are a top instructor with high swing speed. Thanks
thank you sir
totally confused in earlier videos you advocate straightening the trail arm earlier coupled with body turn ???
In you earlier videos you mention dropping your right arm
Great video Zach!
