Half of these aren't even chase downs, they're just guys, often the ones involving kickers/punters, who were well in front of the runner and simply had to take the correct angle to make the tackle….
My HS coaches would HAMMER us on pursuit angles!! This video is a GREAT example and really brings me back!

The best ALMOST chase down was the Colts against Devin Hester in Super Bowl XL. Watch Matt Giordano (#43). He doesn't give up immediately, and he starts running at the 25 and runs all the way across the field and catches prime Hester at the 101 yard line. That was one of the best plays of hustle I've ever seen.
