I did watch your old fitting and wondered why you went 105 gram shafts, can see this helping your game straight away, I’ve been playing project x 5.5 titleists 716 for a year and not really convinced they are the ones, I’m going back to my old callaway x14 pro series stiff rifle shafts (constant weighted) shafts. Used they for 15 years, only sold them as I was so eager to try new up to date equipment and regret it 🙈🤪
I went from apex dcb 85g shaft to p790 120g shaft and the difference it made to where the ball goes is literally crazy handicap came down rapidly, shaft weight is so so important!!
Fittings just seem like a bit of a lottery, so does this mean your last fitting was bad due to the shaft change? That fitting seemed really good at the time. Confusing.
Just had the same, swapped from 105 shaft to kbs 120. Dispersion has been much better. I've got Down to 7.4 in a year and a half, addicted😂. Get yourself to North Wales. 3 good courses within 5 minutes of each other. Sub challanges at Conwy GC
Fitter was average at best. Better than average for AG. I used to work there so not bias against them but they are not real fitters they are just lads with an understanding of simulator number basics. Ian at TXG is what you call a fitter.
Hey Gaz… wondered if you’ve thought about trying ‘Precision Golf’, they seem to be the ultimate fitters in the U.K. Would possibly be a banging video to show what us amateurs could really achieve!
I’m using 2nd hand Mizuno JPX 825 irons that are an inch longer than standard…never been fitted for irons, it would probably improve my game but these cost me £220 and a new set would be around £800. If I go for a fitting I would want a new set 😭

I got fitted for P790 in the 120 S, such a great set up!! Enjoy the sexy looking P770 and shaft combo

Should have tried the T200 in the titleist

Not looking at other brands for head is rather short sighted Gaz, surely you want the best shaft AND head to maximise your game!
I’ve got the Taylormade P770 & P7MC combo. Got the 770 1 degree weak so they blend in with the MC’s. Great combo!
Try the cobras Gaz , great iron and Justin Rose as got them in his bag
American golf have great staff, their only issue is many stores don’t get sent a lot of shaft options for fittings
Just hitting 7 iron feels very limiting in a fitting. Would love to hit a few other irons to look at combo sets, how you hit the long irons etc
Heavy Shaft can really help with slowing your swing down where you hit it more center and correctly.
Are you still using the new grip gaz does it work for driver as well

Gaz, what you doing Friday? Spare spot in our 20 man swindle at Wallasey. 11am tee
Exact combination I use
Great clubs and shaft combination
Hopefully get to scratch this year from 5.1
That’s the aim

Your spin is low little advice don’t play a course with hard greens you will have difficulty holding them.
Great video
We knew from the Georgie shore days that it’s all about the shaft…ode Vicky couldn’t get enough of it!!
Been hitting and playing P7MB 4-PW since Jan 2021. And I love them! And I love my KBS 120 S shafts.
You should have tried the P790s in graphite kbs stiff shafts Gaz 😉😉
Fitting indoors is a start, but gotta take em outside on a range too, turf interaction etc

Cheers man 🤙🏼 I always enjoy yu stuff
Great video Gaz, Just about to get fitted as well , so very interesting watching this !
Never mind the clubs gaz get yourself some socks your feet must be bloody freezing good quality stuff again though
Power bats!!!
Ok to get in the long irons 3,4,5. Once you start flying greens by 20 yards with a 7 iron👎🏻
Awesome video mate, the 770 certainly has a different feel. But it’s not a negative one if that makes sense.
I have the same shaft in the in the longer irons 770.
Looking forward to seeing that you can do with them
7iron spinning at 5100, so that's a 6 iron loft, then 😂 get yourself down to orka for fitting clubs are the best on the market
