  1. I'm playing the PING G430s and it's pretty incredible how high they go while having stronger lofts. I get about a half a club more in distance, they stop better on greens, and sound better than the G425s I had.

  2. Love the Stealth HD and would play them if I didn’t need a 2nd mortgage to buy them. I love the looks of the Srixon irons.

  3. Love my Callaway STMax o/s lites. Sadly as a retired average golfer I can’t afford to swap in and out every year!

  4. I ended up getting mizuno hot metal 923s, I did try pxg 0211 and really liked them too, looks I think the mizuno and pxgs are my favourite, I wasn't as keen on the g430s which is what I went in to try but you can't beat pxg on price though it's a shame but if they did some sort of finance I probably would have got them but even at how good of a price they are I wanted to hold off spending outright sums untill after I pay more off my mortgage at my renewal and I was impatient and wanted new irons 😂

  5. The new Srixon line is impressive… but I think I would get G430s if I had to play a set of GI irons

  6. Andy how come you never review titleist club just had a full bag of the tsr driver 4 wood 7 wood and t300 iron's I play off 8 change from Callaway maverick Pro top volgs 🏌

  7. Just come back from the range, my anorexic transgender daughter hit my dads rogue x 45g senior shafted 8 iron consistently 202-203 carry over 10 balls , how can irons improve any more??

  8. I went with the pxg 0211’s, tried a few different brands during fitting and if I’m honest I liked the tm p790’s the best but in the end it came down to price and I’m happy with my purchase. Just waiting for some decent weather now 🙄🤣

  9. Srixon is the way to go as you can use the different versions in your set.
But Andy – which has the easiest 5 iron to hit? That tells me which is the most forgiving.

  10. I was choosing, I think I’d go for either the Ping G430s or the Callaway Paradym irons

  11. I tried these TM HDs and Ping 430 at the same time, the pings were just as long as the HD, yet they felt so much better and looked much more satisfying.
    Wasn’t even a contest

  12. Andy, you need to test the Wilson DYNAPWR irons. Would give all these a run for their money. And out of these 5, I couldn’t cope with the amount of offset in the Callaway Paradym X. Just too much to look at standing over the ball

  13. Andy,
I have to say that I think that almost every manufacturer with an entry in the Game Improvement/Super Game Improvement have all made great strides in the playability of this category of irons and for me it is really more about budget and manufacterer affiliation for the average golfer out there…Great job as per usual with your video! Always look forward to your daily input!

  14. Bought a set of the PXG 0211’s for Christmas and shot my lowest round and played some of my best golf. At the time I was choosing between the P790s and they were double the price of the 0211s. The other nice part is they feel forged but don’t get all the bag chatter that forged clubs do. These clubs will last a long time!

  15. If you watch Ask Golf Nut Jay you will see that Stealth HD gives high efficiency on heel and toe strikes…so forgiveness is real and engineered not a myth.

  16. It always puzzles me why pro golfers don't use forgiving clubs in the same way tennis players use the biggest, most forgiving, biggest sweet spot racquet they can get their hands on. Using blades to me is the tennis equivalent of using a small wooden frame gut string racquet.. You can't tell me that pros with their immense skill couldn't shape a ball with a forgiving club either.

  17. I got fitted for the Paradym X. Would love your thoughts. I'm liking them a lot so far.

  18. It’s funny how these so called “big brands” are trying to push this as new technology/concepts in 2023 when Adams for years owned this space and was called “old man” irons. Irons like the 2014 Ideas or the Tech V3 & V4… I suggest you go buy a mint set of Adams for $250 or less and be surprised how current your clubs are..

It’s why TM bought them out… for the patent’s.

  19. Andy, I know everyone has their opinions, but I think the WS Dynapower irons definitely fit this category and the price is outstanding.

  20. Good vid but this seems to be mixing game improvement and super game improvement (?). I’d lump T-rail, Stealth HD, PXG 0211Z, Halo XL and Eleven as Super GI, and the forgiving irons as GI. But am I wrong in seeing them as different because I would only look at SGI as my T-rail seem to be a good fit for me

  21. I do agree that manufacturers finally understood that they have to make equipment to fit us, not the reverse. As simple as that…but it comes with a price.

  22. “Compact”

Hilarious how we buy in to the manufacturers spiel. They train us like seals.

  23. Would love to see you test the Cobra Air x irons. They received a Gold rating from Golf Digest Hot list 2022 and are still the 2023 game improvement iron for Cobra. The 40 lite steel shaft is actually a 97 gram TSS shaft. They are the perfect blend of not being oversized but still plenty of club face, great top line and slightly stronger lofts than normal vs jacked iron lofts. They feel great at impact and in the stiff flex are pin seekers for me. This club fly's way below the radar on the other club lists. I think you would be surprised by their performance. Might be a sleeper club for you? And they are extremely affordable.

  24. Andy always enjoyed your Videos 👍, but today felt I needed to see more 🤔, would expect to see the green and where each shot finished, to get a feel how each Iron performed, perhaps next time you can select a hole where we can see the shots land & finish👍, loved your comments (but needed to see which Irons performed Best) Thanks Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer
