Adham Beydoun and Jeff Iafrate share their thoughts on Jalen Carter, and the possibility that the Detroit Lions could land the Top-Rated Defensive Prospect out of Georgia. Adham also looks back at Ndamukong Suh’s, and asks whether or not Detroit would benefit and be satisfied if Jalen Carter worked out a similar way. Like, Subscribe and leave your Comments below!

One of the first rules Campbell had on Hard Knocks was to keep weight in check. Jalen's already struggling with that.
Jalen Carter is reckless and immature. Poor character. So what IF he can play, it's the DRAMA and baggage he will bring with him. Brad hopefully will be able to trade back with 3 or 4 different Teams if Carter is sitting there at 6, pick up a 2nd or 3rd,….and pick the best DL guy there that is not a CB!!!!! I am a hard PASS on Carter, but Brad has to play the role that Detroit WILL draft Carter for those desperate Teams who will trade up to get him. Academy Awards performance time Brad!!!!
And on Suh, Martin Mayhew F-ed it up at contract renewal time. I couldn't believe how he released Suh from their Lions control and let Miami steal him. They should have FRANCHISE-tagged Suh, retained control and then had the option of keeping him or trading him away got Draft picks. Nope, Mayhew shit the bed, and we lost control of the situation and lost Suh. That entire situation could have ended much better for Detroit, but stupid Mayhew got out negotiated by the Player. It was a pitiful day for Detroit under the incompetence of Martin Mayhew.
Speaking of suh we need to go sign suh for a 1 year 2.5 mill deal.. we need more interior line
It's a passing league, let's go cb back to back
Maybe a disappointment
Some of the shit you say bro is flat dumbo Adham. Bust? Because he didnt want to stay with an inbred owner and GM? We only allowed like 70 rushing yards a game. It was like historic. Are you too young to remember that? You look at sacks as a measuring stick? He was double and triple teamed every single game after his first year. Again, he left because management was pathetic. Something youve uttered many times. Then i cant lie bro… you act like a little hoe when someone disagrees with you. Childish. Like a Jewish princess. Just keeping it real playboy. Bust? Your take was a bust. We shouldve won a super bowl that year LEAD by Suh and your fat boy Fairley if it wasnt for the bullshit refs against Dallas. Uncle Cliffy Avril off the edge. You can take Cancey at 18 btw so wtf are you taking him at 6? If Carter gets his shit together you run to the podium… if not you draft Wilson there. Bookend him with Hutch with Houston coming in fresh. Id even take Van Ness at 6 if we CANT trade down. Reminds me of Vanden Bosch. Again, simmer down bro when shit doesent go your way. Love the show.
It's hilarious that we're acting lime a 300+ lb DT being 9 lbs over weight is outrageous. He probably shits 9 lbs in a day.
Your tripping on Jalen Carter ! Give him a break ! I know talent and he’s got it !
people have to stop with the suh disrespect. Dude was a beast here. The lions shouldn't have let him get to free Agency. They shouldn't have offered him immediately after the Watt signing. I couldn't care less about those penalties. The lions were feared with him on the team. I remember watching them prior to him getting here and teams laughing at the lions . That all stopped once suh got here. I would have kept him and solidified the defense. The offense is where I would have made changes.
You are CRAZY or just don't know football if you think Suh was a bust! He was a Beast in Detroit Not a bust!
Lol this dude criticizing a 21 year old is a clown. Comparing the stress of being involved in a highly traumatic life altering event where you messed up and people died to the stress of a football game? Jesus Christ how dumb are you
Folks. This isn’t hard.
Suh wasn’t a “bust” conventionally. But he could never, ever, live up to that money nor could a team build around a guy at that position making that much. You see it happening with the Rams and Donald. The difference being Donald came in on the rookie scale and allowed the team to build behind him.
Suh did not.
As for Carter v Suh? Not even close. Suh was hyper focused day 1. He held every leverage with the lions because it was no threat to tag him and make him the highest paid DT in history. He has since made a career on short contracts. He’s unique in that had he been drafted a year later, he’d probably still be a lion.
Are you crazy….If your saying that officers are not able to preform in high stressful situations your a damn fool. Police officers across the country handle calls for service daily and risk there lives for all of us with mental health issues, depression, suicidal folks. Military personnel (special units) are different and I'm a Marine. That comparison should have never came out of your mouth.
Interesting comparison with Carter lately. He's compared between Nick fairley and Suh for the Lions.
Just when I give adham another chance smh
As I said, you take Jalen Carter… at the 6th pick. The tape doesn’t lie.
Bust??? You're an idiot. Suh made that defensive line one of the most feared defensive lines in the NFL.
i hate when i agree with Adumb 😂
Suh was a beast, but he wasn't worth the headaches and reputation he gave this team. A BUST.
Suh took on double teams every game which opened up opportunities for the other players. He was considered the best DT all 5 years. Stop it with that bust bs
Edgelord Adham
Bradford was the most boring pick ever
So you comparing a person dying to a fucking football game.😮
LMAO Suh a bust but got double and triple team . This 💩 laughable.
I would agree with Adam here, but more extreme, I would not think of him worthy of even a 1st Rounder.
No. Carter is the next Nick Fairley, or Albery Haynesworth. Maybe he is the next JaMarcus Russell, but at a different position. So far, if you get in accident, leave the scene when two of his friends die, then become a liar when interviewed by the police, that strikes me as toxic.
