Legal tampering is here! Today is the start of NFL free agency. Kap says “the Bears are back!” Ryan Poles has been busy since the tampering window opened early today. They have added former Bills star linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who was ranked as the number one linebacker in coverage this year. The Bears have also added former-Eagles linebacker TJ Edwards. Between the two, the Bears have added a lot of speed to their linebacking core. The Bears have also added former Titans guard Nate Davis who excels at pass blocking.
Jimmy Garapollo signed a deal to become the quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders. Mike McGlinchey is leaving the 49ers to become a Bronco. There was a lot of speculation that he and the Bears might connect on a deal, but he ended up choosing Denver. Javon Hargrave is leaving the Eagles and will be joining McGlinchey’s former team, the San Francisco 49ers. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t let the world know what he’s doing, but Trey Wingo tweeted today that it’s a done deal that Rodgers will be heading to the Jets.

Hopefully, these two new LBs: Edmonds and Edwards will help improve the Monsters of the Midway, greatly in 2023. 😃👍👍
