In terms of your commentaries on Gary Lineker, I sense there willbe major embarsssment felt in a couple of short years
I am often reminded of Einsteins wife pleading with him to leave Germany because of what she saw happening.
He, being supposedly the smart one, couldnt see what was happening under his nose.
Gary Lineker and Matt leTissier are pointing as did Mrs E. Einstein is like many so called informed ones, who do not see the real world.
Einstein learned "oh my God the Government is not to be trusted"
The comparison between English and Irish footballers "taking the knee", and Linekers/leTissier is staggering.
My wife is Chinese. I am from near Macroom. Immigration is dear to my heart. But any Chinese will tell you thatou must look after your own before you look after others. They dont mean not to look after others. They mean that just like on an airplane, the parent has to have their oxygen mask on first, before helping another.
Please you guys, stay out of politics. You may well be better than the average hurler on the ditch in terms of sport knowledge but you are a million miles away from being Gary Linekers or Matt leTissiers in terms of seeing other points of political view.
Many in the media in Ireland and the UK today are very like the clergy in the 1950s etc.. Moral authority is absent, despite the self belief.
You are entitled to air, and I enjoy, your sports opinions, but I advise you keep your other opinions off the airwaves.

God, Dion does love to talk nonsense on a regular basis , must be the only person on the planet that thinks Gary Lineker is underpaid. He is by far the highest paid person in the BBC and speaks for about 5 minutes per week. Mark Chapman is 10 x better on a Sunday night. This is why whenever Lineker tweets an opinion it is a lightning rod for everyone who are more aggrieved by how much he is paid then what he has said.

It's a bit facile how Dion appears to apportion a lot of the blame for Liverpool's poor season to Darwin Nunez. IMO a far bigger issue is how they've handed out massive contract renewals to fading players and are paying way more to these players for much less return. Channeling Kevin Keegan I would love it if Nunez proves his doubters wrong.
