  1. I demoed the stealth2 for 2 weeks and the sound and feel and prib forgiveness was better with the 2 but since I had the stealth plus already even tho I did really like it I couldn't bring myself to upgrade for 700 plus dollars but it was marginally better now distance wise I think my plus was a little better but feel sound and forgiveness wise the 2 was better

  2. If Rory boxed himself into playing the newest offering as part of his equipment contract with TaylorMade then that is on him. Henrik Stenson uses a 3W that is well over 10 years old from Callaway. Does that mean his trusty Diablo Octane Tour 3W is better than other Callaway FW releases since then? Of course not. It's more mental and superstitions than actual physical performance characteristics with these guys.

  3. I’m no Stealth lover but shouldn’t Rory focus on his game instead of gobbing off about LIV all the time?

  4. When you get that one club that just works. You're not the only one Rory, we all are in the same boat. Just that we dont have sponsors who wants to market their new clubs lol

  5. Golfers don't like change? then why do so many golfers "upgrade" their clubs every year or every other year? we're always looking for the next big thing. i agree with you though. In Rory's case, i think he's the type that likes to stay with clubs longer and doesn't look to switch every year. he probably just needs time to get used to new equipment.

  6. Personally I don't give a tosh what any of the top golfers play. I am only concerned what is the best for me and my swing/game. It's only a marketing ploy by the manufacturers to get more sales. All the top players are getting paid mega spondoolies to have their clubs in their bag. Who am I to say that Rory is right or wrong to play with that brand of club.

Like the idea of you putting out a video everyday James Robinson, but speculation on a player with the talent that Rory has, well………………

  7. Cry baby Rory who hasn't won a major in almost 9 years. His swing is too long and he gets floppy hands, look how he drove the ball on back 9 of The Masters when he blew a big lead….that was the club too? Lol, stop crying about your driver and LIV GOLF, just hit the ball and keep your immature mouth shut!

  8. So Rory doesn’t enjoy the new driver! So what, I have seen virtually brand new 2023 drivers on sale as people have bought new and prefer old. It’s nothing wrong with the driver, Scheffler winning with same club shows that. Only a fool thinks this driver is bad, it’s not but not suited to Rory yet

  9. James , The longest ball for you was the Cobra ? You right Rory doesn't have a problem with the driver . It was not the problem in his last tournament . It was his putter , and short game..
Plus he needs to want to win and stop playing around. Get involved with his swing. Burn Liv Golf in the process.

  10. I think the whole carbon face thing is a gimmick and hopefully there won't be a Stealth 3. The red face was clearly made for some shock value as well.

  11. I don't think Taylormade are overly competitive in the driver market not since the sim range anyway. Callaway, Cobra and Ping seem to be the best drivers on the market

  12. I think it’s being blown totally out of context. His words were ‘bedding in the new driver’, to me that suggests he’s not quite there yet, but hopes to soon. Maybe a day with trotty, instead of 7 hours worth of meetings could have been the difference 🤔

  13. Rory needs to stop blaming clubs it’s his caddy who is crap , too matey matey .
That’s a reason why scheffler is winning ted Scott “ the best caddy on tour “

  14. James get your hands on the Krank Fire Driver and test it against these OEM drivers. Krank make a huge number ofdrivers for the Long Drive Championships so know a bit about what their doing

  15. A good tradesperson never blames his tools. I’ve never really been a fan of Rory because of some of trash that comes out of his mouth. I couldn’t care less what brands the best golfers use, I just want to watch great golf.

  16. Sour grapes from the most sour player in golf……… plenty of talent but not much more…….

  17. Rory was using the Stealth 2 earlier in the year and was really striping it but unfortunately at the genesis open the driver he was using fail the testing. The face apparently was just barely to hot on the rebound test and he just hasn’t found a newer head he likes.

  18. Rory not as good as Cam Smith or John Rauhm, stop pushing bull S ,*,T
wait till he has to use the short ball,
Will he use that for a excuse ?

  19. Stealth 2 Plus is one of the best driving experiences Ive ever had. Rory can complain but the winner of the Players was using the Stealth 2 Plus. Scottie.

  20. Nonsense! Someone of his level can’t blame equipment. Especially because they can just print stealth 2 on an old driver and no one would know the difference if it had the same paint job.

  21. I saw all this years new drivers and said no thanks
    Bought a TSR3 instead
I don't care what tour pro uses what driver I spend my cash on what is good for me

  22. For one Rory is involved with far too much regarding golf politics, and didn't morikawa also remove the driver ? And rebagged his SIM 2

  23. I think the stealth on centre hits was the best driver ever made, the stealth 2 has been built for more forgiveness. Rory doesn’t need forgiveness he hits the middle every time so why not use the original

  24. I think there's a stats regarding SGs with driver Rory was around 15ish I think he is now mid 100s maybe more …make of that what you wish 🤷‍♂️

  25. It looked like Justin Rose had an M2 or M1 in yesterday's round 😳 👀👀👀🤷‍♂️

  26. Let me start off by saying I don't believe in the idea that brand matters. Having said that, there are too many players hitting the Stealth 2 and finding the fairway while Rory is not Given that players are fitted for all their clubs to include length, Flex, kick point, and loft. Rory blaming the club is disingenuous. For all you amateurs who buy into the idea that a club brand or the newest version will improve your game, take a lesson from Rory. When he hits the ball well, its because of his talent. When he hits the ball poorly, its the fault of the club but if you cannot hit your Ping driver and find the fairway, you are not going to hit your TaylorMade driver any better until you fix your swing.

  27. Trust and confidence… it's what matters to players. Need to develop that over time. Why do you go back to an old putter? What separate the top players is their mental state.

  28. James, just a quick question,it would be nice to see what's in your bag after testing a multitude of Drivers……i can't recolect a what's in your bag for 2023…..if i have missed it my apologies……keep the video's going…excellent content…..👍

  29. Keep running your mouth and missing fairways ya has been, will be begging for a shot at LIV in 5 years

  30. Just watched simion sas and he mentioned Nope the face is 2 thin and is now illegal, thinner the face gets with them hitting the Center all eventually does this so he had no choice

  31. I don’t know that he is blaming the driver! I know I don’t like changing clubs if I have confidence in them! Why would you?! I change putters often enough and I am certainly not close to their level! As mental as golf is, certain clubs you just don’t replace cause someone says you have to!

  32. I'm not suggesting Rory is having this problem, but after the Wake Forest Invitational college tournament, I happened to be on the range and personally witnessed a participant cave in his driver face. He called his coach over, and we found that the face was definitely pushed into the frame. He hit a couple more drives and they went dead left. It makes me question just how durable that club is at higher swing speeds.

  33. Stealth are they overrated? Justin Rose this week using an old Taylormade M4 driver. Should we really be falling for the new drivers and blowing £500 notes. Justin won at Pebble.

  34. Great video James, new subscriber here. I’m awaiting stealth 2 irons, MG3 54deg and stealth 2 hd driver following a custom fitting so this video is re-assuring to know that the driver is not a duff as the press may make us believe that that’s what Rory feels. I hope it’s down to the fine tuning and him getting comfortable with it, like you said. Keep up the great content 👍🏻
