The obvious issue is… who gets to post it? Who gets the money from the streams/views afterwards?
Nobody? Roll it all forward into the next tournament? Fine… who handles that tho? That's gotta go on someone's taxes right? So who eats it?
Unless you have money to bankroll the first one and make yourself chairman of the YTGA, do you honestly believe everyone that already dont work together will trust any singular party to handle that?
Pretty unlikely. My suggestion would be, ask Bryson DeChambeau to advance you the money to organize the first event, and give him 10% of everything the events make even once his investment is repaid, roll the other 90 forward to the next event.
The prize money will be tough at first, but I think for the inaugural tournament, you should get a custom "YouTube Golf Association" championship belt made. YouTube button as the flag on the pole right on the center plate.

Needs to be 4 quarterly events. 3 months to prepare for each event. Cumulative score. Winner take all. "The Creator's Cup" – you heard it here first.
Aside from the funding, Micah grant and good good gotta sort their problems out if they haven’t yet bc that would be the only thing holding this idea back
I would love this! But I totally disagree I don’t think it would be bigger then LIV. The Saudi League has so much money to make it so much bigger and to make it exciting. But I would love to watch a YouTube tournament.

They need to add a Youtube-Subscriber day to the event. Each participating channel selects (lotter/whatever) several subscribers to play with a Youtuber golf led group on the day before the tournament. Maybe that's included for year #2.
Seems like a logical next step. I don’t see presently the now weak content producers Grant and Micah being in the conversation. It’s becoming a little tiring seeing them remain in the conversation. Those two tools went into oblivion as far as I’m seeing with their boring individual and paired content.
Look, bottom line is Grant and Micah think they’re better than everybody else and this far since the separation it appears they’re wrong.

Go find a person to fund it. I can come up with great ideas too. Just no one to fund it. You make money and views because of others. You are less than those you cover. You just sweep crumbs from actual creator's.

This could be outstanding, prise money for winning and even incorporate knock outs, stroke play or match and do a gross and net catagory like any club event. All the creator channels would have a yout tube revenue share and you could charge nominal fee to watch live stream to finance the event.

Love to see Mac Boucher, Andrew Rasmussen (agolfr), Bryce Cope Golf, and Remec Carlson (ceoofgolf) in any tournament put together. Mr.Short Game, Peter Finch, etc etc
However, it's gotta be Rick Shiels that puts the whole thing together. He has the biggest reach and the deepest pockets.
