Kap was working the phones this afternoon and talked to an NFL assistant coach who thinks teams are lining up for the top overall pick after the NFL Combine completed with rave reviews and testing from the QB prospects. C.J. Stroud has moved up several boards and many teams have Anthony Richardson rated as the top QB on the board. It’s believed the Bears will also beef up their offensive and defensive lines in a big way next week when free agency opens.
Aaron Rodgers and the NY Jets have completed their conversations and the Jets are now working on clearing salary cap space in order to make it work. No decision has been made from a Rodgers regarding his future.
Grizzlies star Ja Morant will not be charged with any wrongdoing for brandishing a gun inside a strip club in Denver. He remains away from the team.
The Bulls are in Denver tonight.
