Fly Tying Tutorial – The Early Season

The Early Season (Midge Month)

In today’s video, Rick (The FlyFish Fanatic)™ will be tying Chironomid/Midge/Buzzer pattern. This is a pattern is one i have been using for many years, but this is one of those flies that works better at Ice off than other times.

Materials:
Hook- Hends BL254N Size 10-14
Thread- Semperfli Nanosilk Black
Body- Sempeffi Nanosilk Black
Rib- Semperfli Red wire .1mm
Rib- Semperfli Mirror Tinsel Mirage 1/69 (4mm)
Gills- Semperfli White Poly Yarn
Bead- FLAT black brass bead
