As golfers you always get told to swing your own swing and make adjustments for there, but I had a play around with my grip and my swing direction has changed HUGELY!
Scratch handicap and play with titleist 716 CB’s would never change them unless something was out of this world in a fitting. Got a mate who plays off +5 and uses p790’s it’s down to personal preference I think gaz what feels best for you 👍🏻
T100 10 handicap I had the t200 before this when I was at around 18. Love the t100 the feel is so nice I don’t catch fliers anymore but still feel forgiving
i’m a 6 handicapper, used to play mizuno mp5 blades. Loved them but found in comps and when i needed them, i could have just done with a little more forgiveness… Not loads, but say for example hitting a few grooves low with a blade takes so much off the shot where if i’d had a more forgiving club i would have found the green/got a lot closer. Swapped this year to mizuno MP20 HMB irons, look the exact same as blades but with some tungsten inside, love them. Can still work them well and they’re traditional lofts, not super strong like a lot of other clubs in that category (p790’s i525’s etc).
Ultimately i realised the ego of playing beautiful forged clubs was costing me shots!
I was using m2 irons for my first three years of golf and was struggling to break 80, consistently hitting the ball way to far, 8 iron going 190 and loads of flyers, changed to player iron shooting 3/4 over now way more control mate
i'm playing the p770 (4-pw) and i'm off 15. played p790 before. huge difference. you can control the p770 better (distance). but i must admit, that its more difficult in hitting longer irons (4-5) as it was with the p790.
Swing looking good pal 🤜 Off +1 and play Callaway Razr X Tours which are over 10 years old 😂 Forgiving and they just make golf pretty easy for me really. Don't strike it well enough consistently to get blades!
A guy uses ap1s at my local and is of +1 apparently game improvement irons? Dont really see why anyone would want to make golf harder than it already is 🤣 get some p790s gaz 👍🏻
4.4 handicap. I used to play the p7mc's. Switched to t100s a year ago. Best decision I ever made. Also, I switched the tsr3 to a callaway paradym. They are slice machines them titleist drivers. Or try a ventus tr red shaft. The tip is much softer to close the face.
I m off a 9 handicap and using Wilson staff blades .. best feeling irons when hit reasonable well .. yes not much foregiveness but if u hit out the middle ish .. nothing feels better or gives u that smile factor

12 handicap and P790’s, great for forgiveness at my level! Also playing TSR woods and SM8 wedges.
A weaker grip will normally open the club face at impact promoting a slice or fade and a stronger grip normally the opposite!!
8 h Callaway apex seem to work for me
Prob best seen you play , v consistent and striking ball so good . Play off 10 with t300 irons
With you on the right hand grip, fade/slice is now straight/draw.

Blades are absolutely pointless. Your either a tour player or an up your self moron, that plays blades
Some super golf. Might wanna wear a Woolly hat / Snood when cold. Hdcap 10, switched to WS launchpad from Mizuno mp60's, for this coming year.
6.6 Index. Ping i210's. Tried most of the irons on the market but went back to these. Can't beat Ping irons!
54 years old 16 handicap play Taylormade HD irons
Gaz I’m a 2.6 handicap using T200 4,5,6 & T100S 7,8,9,PW and GW best irons I’ve had in 30 years of golf
