The best Swing on the LPGA tour

  1. @spakktron maybe a bit. But I bet she has a neutral to slightly week grip. I thought I also noticed a slight cupping of the left wrist during backstroke. Bottom line, she gets it back to square at impact and it is a very good golf specific motion.

  2. @lbenoit22 sounds like your commenting about a 15 handicap golfer, sure she's not perfect at the top and has to release the club to square the face at impact but it is a very good swing and pretty to look at.

  3. GolfSage (sort of a misnomer)- maybe you should stop trolling peoples' videos and hold your comments until you could actually beat any of the golfers you're being critical of. Here's my analysis: self-appointed golf experts with "expert blogs" tend to be crappy players who can only hope to snare beginners because they otherwise can't play and no experienced player buys into their BS.

  4. It amazes me the fact that she plays on tour. I mean her tempo on her clubs are all so different and to compete in the top level, that is amazing. Tiger said you gotta have same tempo throughout your bag for consistency, but she almost stops her putter, on her back stroke lol

  5. I Like more her downswing and finish than the backswing -she went so down-

  6. It is in fact "not the best swing on tour," but it is certainly better than average in some respects, most notably rhythm and flow. You're right about her being unusually open with the clubface on the backswing.

  7. Also: I just saw some photos and video of her on the downswing, just past full extension toward the target, and she's actually _closed_ there. If she started these swings as open as the one in this vid, that means she's rotating and releasing that clubhead through a huge range of motion, which some tour players get away with, but certainly it can lead to inconsistency.

  8. i love the "expert" criticism on her swing. i would beat the corpse of mother teresa with a 2×4 to own that swing.

  9. like most modern swings there is way too much manipulation with the hands in the hitting area….ala a one plane swing for the most part and relies on hands and timing.
She should take lessons from bradley hughes.

  10. you comment pros crack me up…….can we see some golfing credentials that don't involve you just telling us you're a scratch golfer that was going to turn pro? hehe

  11. K. What will you accept? I taught for several years.

Of course, rather than reverting to the pure appeal to authority, you could always evaluate the comments for themselves. That's one way you know whether you have somebody who knows what he (or she) is talking about — although I guess as soon as you do, then you're a "comment pro" too.

  12. I believe you taught for several years. Golf instruction has been in the toilet for a long time and it's getting worse. A quick browse through these very comments is all one needs as proof of that fact. Analytical garbage from sheep that have been brainwashed by video analysis and pseudo science. Any player or instructor worth their salt would not be trawling youtube comments and arguing with people whom have no idea what they're talking about 99% of the time. I think that covers it, bai bai.

  13. I`ve been a golf player for Several years and there are certain lessons which I have got. Studying these golf swing secrets “Jοmtοnο Naha” (Google it) permitted me to shot a 75 after 2 buckets. I was able to get more acquainted with numerous golf concepts like grip, ball position and through swing drills. I was a Thirteen handicap, but it is dropping. It is outstanding guide!
