Hi Lee I’m getting these clubs but taking a bit of length off the shafts , 44.5 inch driver , an inch off the 3 wood and l2 off the 5 wood throw the weight into the head to regain swing weight …keep up the great content and keep us all posted with your PGA …p.s can or have you reviewed the ping HL fairway woods? …. Especially the 3 wood which for us older guys is a bit harder to launch without a good swing speed …thanks
Great review Lee, like always. I already got g430 lst, g430 3w and 3 hybrid. My question is really needed 5 wood when is so close than 3 hybrid. Specially when you can adjust loft. Or is better take out 4 iron and get 4 hybrid to count with hybrid in the bag. Or maybe take out 3w and play 5w lofted down. I would like read your opinion. Thanks
Just got the Ping G430 5W and loving it. Previously a Cobra Radspeed 3W and can’t get on with it. The G430 is so much more forgiving and fantastic looking with the matte finish on the top. Compliments and fits well with my G425 driver and G425 4 hybrid.
I've owned about 7 or 8 models of fairways. Current G425 is my favorite by far. It's a 7 wood that's 3/4" long. The extra swing weight really helps.
You need to try the Cobra LTDx 3 and 5 wood they to me are the easiest to hit, the look and feel are amazing as well. They're both in my bag.
I lurv my Ping K15 5 wood. I wonder if it might be even more forgiving than the club you're gaming there
I had the G425 was disappointing tbh lack of distance for me, tried an 0211, same results, went back to a TM one, the Sim much better.

Currently using a Calloway X2 hot 4wood .. with the adjustment on the Pings (which obviously I haven't got)does the G425 have the adjustment to a 4 wood degree?? (G425 3 or 5 wood)
How would this compare to the Mizuno st230 fairway woods ? also verbal slipup at 10:43 is hilarious but you might want to fix 🙂

I tried all the newer stuff but i dont like how flat the heads are. Especially ping fairway woods.
When hitting in to the green I always have the 10% rule.
So from 220 yards the ok miss is 22 yards. Let's me have more realistic expectations when hitting in to the green.
