  1. I can't see a reason for the Jets not to pursue Lamar Jackson. Roger's will cost $60 million no one knows if he will even play for the Jets. Lamar you could get for $200 million over 4 even though the contract would say $260 million over six $200 would be garunteed

  2. You can't take Tua's fifth year, as Chris says Concussion. I played Premier rugby for 14 years. Concussions are very dangerous as soon as they come in bunches its rare when they don't continue. For Tua's sake I hope he can avoid anymore dingers. I want him to succeed regardless if the head injuries never occured

  3. The Hawks are my team. Pete is talking up QBs in the draft to get more for trading down. We need 3 interior defensive lineman, a gaurd, and a center. Nuwosu is a blue chip player on defense. If we don't take a second round QB, I would be happy to have Drew Lock as our backup at $2.5 million he knows the system. Geno was one of only six qbs who took every snap last year

  4. Newsflash:. If Joe Burrow demands a guaranteed contract he's going to get it. Teams are already starting to push signing bonuses past the length of the contract to reduce individual year cap hits.

  5. Like father like son average QBS and sounds RACIST AF cause a black QB got guaranteed money as highest paid ever. They are really showing their true colors

  6. Daboll was in his wheelhouse last season running a conservative offense. Pre Bills, he was an offensive coordinator for middling NFL teams, where ball security, clock management and field position gave your team the best chance to win. Good job Daboll.

  7. Big Fucker should definitely do a podcast…matter of fact everybody should even if it they will be providing misinformation

  8. here's a take, Lamar signs this guaranteed contract then gets hurt week 13 and is on IR, once again, to end a season

  9. I would NOT give a guaranteed contract to any player. Maybe Mahomes or Burrow as they’re by far the best QBs in the league.

Lamar isn’t that. He’s a runner that’s slowing down and his passing is nowhere near their level.

  10. You guys are wrong imo.
We will see it (guaranteed contracs) in the NFL. The NBA does it. It's just matter of time before it becomes the norm in the NFL.

  11. 32 mil is just setting the bar to draw other teams, not specifically to annoy Lamar. Once the big picture is drawn out, Lamar will need advice from an agent, or his career will be financially short. It's time to be smarter than the past 12 months or so.

  12. It is collusion but it’s silent collusion. The owners don’t have to talk about it. They all know where their collective interests lie.

  13. Phil contradicts himself – LaMar's style of running has to change if he wants longevity – he does not protect himself.

  14. Everyone knew no teams were going to give him 250 million guaranteed. The Ravens knew it as well.

  15. I have to ask….Chris how are you not in a corner office with a view? Where are you in a lobby? It makes me laugh seeing people walking behind you…🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂😂 or is that a moving background? AND I love when your Dad is on👏👏👏👏💓

  16. What has Jackson done besides a MVP? He hasn't finished the last two seasons and is 1-3 in post season and plays hurt most of the time.

  17. As a ravens fan I stand with the ravens front office. As elite as Lamar is he’s proven he can’t stay healthy the whole season the last two years, and that doesn’t make good business to fully guarantee a long term contract. I hope he doesn’t sabotage himself but I could see him in ten, atl, or LV

  18. I usually wouldn’t care, but the legend’s hair is what’s up today! Looking good Mr. Super Bowl XXI MVP!

  19. I feel like watson, Murray and Wilson's performance this year has pry put a damper on big contracts with a lot guaranteed. You got tom Brady and mahomes taking team friendly deals and winning superbowls on the other end of the spectrum. Lamar is wasting a 100 mil of endorsement money opportunity arguing over a 100 mil on his contract. Not a good idea to not have an agent it would be bad for the nfl if a player with no agent gets a fully guaranteed contract. This is the nfl owners and big time player agencies banding together to protect their businesses.

  20. I don't think people fully grasp why no one gets a fully guaranteed deal. Say the ravens gave him loke 5 years 250 mil guaranteed.
If they cut him after say year 2 they are on the hook for like 150mil dead money on the cap. If he gets hurt they are on the hook fpr all of that cap money. It's cap suicide if the player gets hurt or dosent perform. You literally can't cut them without putting half of your salary cap into dead money and you'll have an xfl team at that point. It's not collusion as much as it is a bad buisness decision. Imagine you buy a new house and it burns down and you still need to pay a 30 year mortgage on it. That's what this is

  21. Look at the nba as to why nfl players don't have gurantees. The nets and simmons inparticular

  22. Phil's spot on. The Ravens are trying to get other teams to do their work for them. It's not evil, it's smart business. But it's been done too many times by other teams, and nobody is falling for it. The Chiefs are doing the same thing with Orlando Brown, Jr. This stuff can backfire, though.

  23. Ravens got a deal done with Roquon, right away – no agent. Baltimore is clearly ready to deal. It's the guaranteed money. We all know it

  24. Although I disagree about Miami, I love Big Phil and Chris crapping on the idea of Seattle drafting a QB and emphasizing a need to get defensive help first! Regardless of issues, Jalen Carter and Yasir Abdullah are the best picks for Seattle. Even Will McDonald IV wouldn't hurt.

If not, the Hawks should add players who should help them win games they lost in 2022. They only beat 1 winning team in 2022. Time to get players to beat the best of the NFC East and AFC North too because those are other divisions the Seahawks will face outside their own.

Bring back the edge and QB hits the LOB played with!
