  1. This was a great first win for a excellent young player. Kurt won playing the hardest course on the PGA against the best players in the world. Well done~! Shalom

  2. He is a quick learner. All of his sponsors on his collar in full display.

  3. Congratulations to this kid. Very happy for him. I'm pretty sure, not trying to beat him up, but the fact that he's clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed, is a benefit. Being completely numb to the rarified air you're in definitely helped him.

  4. strong temperament to come back from that out of bounds drive and play such a solid back nine… well deserved win against fierce competition and a super tough course!

  5. Excellent tournament
Kitayama seemed not to play under any pressure. A real winner

  6. Kurt is the son of Clifford. Clifford was a middle and high school classmate. As a result, I have followed him closely since his days at DP World. This year is his second year on the PGA Tour. He has improved greatly in irons and putting. His wildness off the tee needs improvement. He will have many more wins and become an icon in his own right.

  7. What a great recent news – Lilia Vu, a Vietnamese American, won when Vietnam with a populaton of 90 millions, not one. Now two Japanese American winners, Kitayama and Morikawa out of maybe 2 millions Japanese Americans vs one Japanese Matsuyama from a population of 100 millions. Can you see how USA brings out the best in people? Can Elon Musk do as well if he remains in SA or Canada? No way!
