The Tour reaches Arnie’s Place this week for the API, another elevated event on the 2023 schedule. With a $20 million purse, 44 of the OWGR Top-50 will tee it up alongside an elite field of golfers all looking to lift the trophy at Bay Hill. On this week’s Tour Report, Elk & Diane take a look back at the Honda Classic, strategize their way around Bay Hill and preview the tournament, looking at the field and analyzing the stats. Gain insight into the way we organize and interpret player stats to make our picks, and find out who Elk & Diane have picked as their Outright Favorites, Ones to Watch and Dark Horses.

  1. Why is the boring music running in the background the entire video — it’s really not adding anything to the awesome content

  2. Love the breakdown of the picks and I'm sure I'll mix and match with some of my own. Enjoyed the story of Arnie and the clock and after a little research I found one that was very interesting inre to Eric Cole. His parents were divorced and later on his mom remarried to a fella who had a membership at Bay Hill and she said in the early 2000's they had a club championship tournament and Eric was entered and she caddied for him and said "he won it by a large margin". Eric and Arnold's grandson Sam Saunders are best buddies so I assume that's where they met, at Bay Hill, and then Eric coached Sam until Eric gained his KFT status in 2020, then had a T3 in the KFT Championship in 2022 where he gained his PGA card. Had Eric won last week he would have been added to the list of father & son duos who had won on the PGA tour (his father Bobby Cole won the '77 Buick Open). I think Eric is pretty familiar with Bay Hill and I think it would be fitting to win his maiden here so there's no way I'm leaving him out of my lineups this week, especially at 300/1 at DK. Oh yeah, he resides in Delray Beach, Fl

  3. Should have unsubbed last week but its now happening. So much for covering LIV. Enjoy sub 100 views being PGAT shills . Shame .

  4. Are you going to cover LIV? You were one of the few shows that did last year but it seems that you missed Mayakoba. I hope you cover LIV in the future.
