  1. Clive was f#£ked over by ITV for Sam Whatshisface, for England games. Foolishly so as Whatshisface is poor. Sky also have engaged in agism based on the turtle necked youtube creators they have as pundits. Martin Tyler was once great. Darren Fletcher is good, adds a bit of excitement to the game.

  2. When I was a kid I would watch the FA Cup Final on CBC(the only live game we saw televised in Canada) in black and white. I would tape the game (audio tape) and listen over and over to the extraordinary voice of John Motson describe the action of the soccer match. Years later he did the voice for the FIFA video game series and it was thrilling to hear him again. I never met him, yet he had such an affect on my young life. He was the voice of football.

  3. R.I.P John a true professional a humble man a man of the football supporter 👏 respect from a Leeds United supporter who grew up listening 🎧 to Motty 🤝 love you forever John gone never forgotten the No 1 legendary Commentator 🙏🕊️🤍💛💙

  4. When R9 scored two goals vs Germany in 2002 World Cup Final, he said that the Brazillian had "run a rampant".

  5. I reckon the book sales will go through the roof now and therefore his loved ones will benefit from it. If anyone's got a spare few quid and want a new book to read… then think about Mottys autobiography as you'll also be supporting his loved ones. Seems like a win/win if you're looking for a new book. 🤜🤛
