  1. lol oflaherty did you not read the rules at all this offseason? You didnt know any of them 😆

  2. Damn! DOB, you've got to get O'F up to speed! Where's the guy been for the last 4 months, a cave in Peru? Didn't know we have Allard, obviously hasn't read the new rules and studied them. It appears like he gets on the stream and hasn't been briefed on what you're gonna talk about, doesn't know what's new, doesn't know some of the players, and seems half asleep from the get go. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching him pitch, but maybe this streaming chat thing isn't his cup of tea. Nice guy, good pitcher, but let's get you guys together with an outline of what you plan to cover, and before you go live, let's spend half an hour with you bringing him up to speed on everything, so he doesn't act like he's been in that cave, hibernating for the winter!
    It's embarrassing! 🤷🙄🤣

  3. i had suspected ian's fastball had lost some rise from previous years. hopefully with a better fastball and a new slider, he can be really good again

  4. I’d love for Ian to succeed, but just don’t think he’s ever gonna be very consistent. Fast ball mechanics just aren’t good enough to make any other pitch(es) he has or develops effective enough. Frankly, I don’t see Elder progressing enough to be much more than a Triple A pitcher either. Hope they prove me wrong, but I just don’t see it. I think they should’ve traded them last season in a bundle to get a more reliable arm or to Pittsburgh for Reynolds. Braves tend to hang onto pitching prospects too long beyond their value.
