Huge fan of disc golf and the pro scene. Huge fan of live disc golf and I think DGN does a really good job considering where the sport is at. With all that said, this style of promo video just seems really hokie to me. Players reading off these sports tropes with a seriousness that doesn't match up with their personalities. I truly don't mean to be insulting. I just found it a little cringy and cliche.

What sacrifices?
A lot of great reasons to just focus on enjoying this wonderful game and letting go of showing other people what you can do. I mean, isn't that enough? Hard to beat delight and satisfaction with shots well thought out and well executed. I do not need you to know who I am and what I can do to enjoy the game. Of course, we're not all the same. Thankfully. I don't mind seeing what's possible and how that gets done, however.
