Topbloke is fed up with the likes of Ian poulter and Lee Westwood, their Bitterness and twitter rants are showing themselves to be nothing more than self entitled cry babies

  1. PGA Tour didn't/don't like their monopoly getting challenged. The PGA Tour have shafted the euro tour with this 'strategic alliance'. Monopolies are never good and love or hate LIV it is good to see a challenge to the PGA Tour.

  2. I don't really disagree with your assessment of these guys, but the PGA Tour is just so cringe these days with Rory and everyone trying to take the moral high ground. Can't say I begrudge these guys poking the hypocrits on the PGAT

  3. Never cared for Poulter. When Covid hit and Westwood whined about the PGA not cancelling The Players tournament, I thought he looked like a twat.
As for LIV, it’s a money grab. I don’t blame them, but let’s not pretend that it’s as competitive as the PGA.

  4. Like you said, I couldn't believe they were trying to get some sympathy taling about not getting paid whilst sat on their private jets. It just seemed a bit tone deaf.

That being said, I'd probably be the same in that situation but I'd at least hire TB to sing songs about crossy on my private jet.

  5. Thanks TB keep doing LIV stuff, I do not see much being done on that. I do not follow these guys on Twitter. I saw up to the LIV thing on Netflix that is all, "Full Swing" seems a little fake to me, I see Koepka punching holes in walls, not sitting on his girlfriends furry swing looking depressed, lol. Hate the team thing on LIV, those guys like Poulter had to grab the money while they could.

  6. Yea poulter comes across as a complete tosser. The Tony Finau story was fantastic. I wonder if the pga will take back the liv golfers if it fails. Probably. Tbh apart from Poulter I like the players on liv. Haven’t actually watched Liv though!

  7. On the other side you could say the same about McIlroy. It's embarrassing listening to him trying to put the LIV tour down with his jibes. Great golfer but not the sharpest tool in the box.
Especially now that the PGA tour is copying the LIV tour format. Can't see Rory refusing the extra pay off.

  8. Something that you and Poulter have in common… both have won zero Major Championships

  9. Loved your editorial on some of the Pro Golfers and the LIV Tour. You should do more editorials such as these. Well done

  10. Poulters act of chest beating and eye bulging was nonsense.
Cannot stand the bloke, moaning about what he had given up seeing his kids growing up was utter bollocks. He was happy to have cameras in looking at his Ferrari collection.
Glad to see the back of him and Garcia.

  11. Poultry had a nice spread in the U.K. and a nice spread in Orlando. Boo hoo😢. Brooks Koepka came across as a whining cunt. If JT is Bert, is Spieth Ernie? Or Elmo?

  12. They took a bag of money and in the process significantly and quite negatively impacted professional golf for the fans. LIV is unwatchable trash. The PGA tour is not as good. Every fan is worse off but these a holes. Poulter had to take the bag because he spends money like he’s got tiger woods bank account and was running out of cash. He’s the ultimate db. And Westwood is almost as bad. They’ll be hated by nearly every golf fan on earth until the day they die now. And no one feels bad for them.

  13. Good assessment all round. I couldn't buy into the Full Swing program. Only interesting ones were the legit battlers from humble beginnings.
The show tried to create drama thinking it would be like the Drive To Survive show which it failed to do. The F1 show was awesome, still pricks, but the drama didn't appear to be manufactured.
Pro golfers are pretty boring people anyways, and any genuine, interesting and colourful people will be toeing the company line. That's why all they could come up with was mega rich golfers complaining about the cuts they're missing, or majors they haven't won or why their swing or putting is off. Pretty boring stuff

  14. With the exception of DJ, all of the other livers have done nothing but complain since leaving the pga tour. I thought the pga tour was soooooo mean to them, they should be loving their life now. I dont get it.

  15. I was very open minded on LIV last year. Mainly because I despise Mcilroy. However it’s definitely not working. Funnily enough I think it’s because it’s not 72 hole with a cut. People don’t seem into the gimmicks, music, no cut, 54 holes, team nonsense. If they had just become a traditional well funded rival tour like the European tour it might work.

  16. How do you feel about your former employers? I would bet that most would have gripes with them. The bottom line is its a purely commercial arrangement. These days to look at in any other way is stupid. You leave a job for all sorts of reasons but money is usually the no1 thing for most because most jobs don't pay well enough to live, its engineered like that to keep people working and not wind down and go and eat fruit and enjoy the sunshine like humans evolved to do. Lets face it though the PGA might have been crap to work for, we don't know. Remember professional sport is a circus, a fake, a theatre, a TV programme……. only loosely based on "a game". Its purpose is to generate revenue. That's why when you hear drugs discussed in athletics they scout around the issue, you listen to the ex-competitors turned commentators, they know what went on and what they did. They know drugs are needed to run the amazing times they do and keep people interested but if it became widespread knowledge amongst fans they would switch off and everyone on the gravy train would fall. Its pro sport not real life, not even real sport. These guys like Poulter and Westwood even moon puss they can say what they like but it only matters to people that don't understand the fakery. Are their rants fun or fake? Fakery makes great industry, it always has and always will…….. In golf terms think about the plastic balls and the comedy sized clubs they have now, fake fake fake.
