  1. brandon if you do it right you will feel like using the club to make the ball go up in the air i dont know but thats how i feel i got soo much stuck up on how to use my body but in the end you are trying to use the club the tool better

  2. Love your Milo videos.

It interesting to watch your practice takeaway (w/o ball) the watch your w/ball. Nearly instantly you get deeper (too deep with your hands/arms. I think that that is where the out and away move comes from. There is some sort of belief/pattern that makes you want to snatch it inside (not as much as you used to). The difference is really distinct. Your without ball swings put you at a great position at top without any effort. You seem to recover in your with ball swings, but you’ve already had to create and are reactive to a takeaway fault. The energy of the problem occurs way before you see the fault. I’m sure that you feel differently standing over a ball than you do on no ball swings. Still pretty sure that it has to start there.

IMO, the swings look better with increased torque but probably won’t last because you are trying to fix a breaking inertia thing with downswing thoughts.

    Thanks Alan

  3. Hey Brendan, thanks for the vid, good stuff! Looks like towards the end when you were dropping you weren’t getting as much weight back over to the left which I have noticed when trying that same move and I was also hitting them thin.

  4. Having found your channel and been binging it this week. This is by far the most powerful and controlled your swing has looked.

  5. This looks like a strong grip match up swing. AKA David Duval. If you didn't do that you would hook it a little.

  6. Takeaway is too low and inside. Go back and look at the vid you did with Dana D. about " throwing" the club back with pressure shifts and torso rotation. Right now you're trying to make the club go into positions that takes a conscious effort and slows everything down.
The whole swing is about 1 second and the downswing is .25 of a second .
It's a chain reaction and if it starts off with a manipulation of the club by the hands and arms it becomes a rescue mission.
You need a Dana refresher course, imo.

  7. I think if you could do a few thousand hockey stick drill Milo taught you and you probably would swing with way fewer swing thoughts

  8. Really like this idea of body lowering/hands lower–then firing. Seems powerful/unleashing… Need to try this–next screen golf time. Thanks for the follow-up video with Milo. Nothing launched into the next-door garden–yet. ;>)

  9. Couple of thoughts: down swing torque is largely initiated by the "screwing in" of the trail foot in the back swing and continues in transition. This torquing continues/blends into/is furthered by lead leg "posting" – where lead foot pressure is pushing back from the target and target line. The drop in transition leads to/enables increased posting pressure and increased torque/rotation. Good swing sequence thoughts for me are "screw – drop – post". Of course this has to be sequenced with proper weight shift, etc.

  10. Once again it is the arm swing you are using your arms and hands let them go for the ride and not control your swing

  11. That last swing had much better movement with the pelvis, early extension is what is killing your rotation. Got to concentrate on getting that right hip as deep as possible in the backswing and then the left hip as deep as possible in the downswing.

  12. Great swing Brendan! It seems like ideally you want the hands/ arms to do nothing at the top of the swing ( let the lower body momentum bring them down in the slot).

  13. I still say your hands and arms get behind you on full swing. Milo’s never get behind him no matter how hard he’s swinging

  14. Anyone who wants to improve their golf swing ( safely) I recommend following Milo.
