I use these all through the winter, not enough spin in the summer for me, or should I say grip. Spin is just one component of stopping power
There are a lot of two piece balls that perform well across the bag! There’s Wilson Zip, Precept Laddie, Maxfli Straightfli, Pinnacle Rush etc. Ihave been trialing them all. I’m impressed! Thanks for the review!
Not sure if you've ever tried them, but if not perhaps you should check out Srixon Soft Feel in white..
2 piece ball 77 compression try a Wilson fifty elite 2 piece ball 50 compression or noodle 2 piece 35 compression
If you think they are good try the TaylorMade RBZ soft also from Amazon at £17:60
GREAT REVIEW ANDY…..i am gonna give these a try…currently play VICE PRO SOFT 39.00 canadian….golf town is selling these Taylormades for 24.99 i will try a dozen this spring….cheers from Canada
Great video. May I make a suggestion. Do your review on the Noodle Straight flight golf ball from Wal-Mart. 15 balls in the box for about 1.00 a ball and always stays on a rope and feels fantastic. You may be impressed.
Keep up the grind!
I have been gaming these balls for the past 2 months. I think they are fantastic but a little too hard and clicky for me. I prefer something slightly softer.
my main problem with Distance balls is that they usually feel like rocks, if you have found one that feels ok and spins then you may be onto a winner
I am still in the Kirkland Golf Balls 2.0 get 2 Dozen for $27.95 here in Atlanta GA.
I have been playing these over winter here in Spain, now though due to it being so dry I just changed as their stopping power is limited. I guess I don’t generate the same spin as you. Nice balls otherwise. Amazon price is cheaper in the UK. Nice!
Yeah, I've played these through winter. Great value and East to see if you get into the silver birch leaves.
#HOTGOLF I play Taylormade Tour Response Stripe!
🐊🏌🦅🇺🇸⛳️😉
Good info Andy I use callaway super soft don't know a lot about balls judt like the feeling I did try the taylormade tour repoince stripe but didn't like it the stripe kind off put me off don't know why
Andy, you don't want that Mezz anymore, do ya? Yeah, just go ahead and ship it over to me and I'll take it off your hands. 🙂
I agree with you Andy, whatever ball I play will not really affect my score. Soft balls are only good for around green playing although it's more a matter of feeling that result. I have played my lowest games with Callaway clone golf clubs and mid priced balls in early 2000's. Even with better equipment I can't do it anymore, it speaks for itself.
Been playing the RBZ soft for 3 years… fantastic .
Got to be worth a try, Andy.
Ive gamed these . Lucky if they last a round . Poor durability
I used these balls all last season and I've started this season with them and they are great, used to use srixon distance and these are a lot better and not too expensive when i lose them. Definitely give them a go ⛳
I found one before and played it, it was fine but I agree that the yellow looks kind of funky, and I likt yellow golf balls but those look strange on the outside color in the yellow.
I have tried these but still much prefer the TM Tour Response.
Andy, how’s the durability? I’ve heard you need to game a ball with a urethane cover to really improve score, so would this ball be lacking there?
Average Golfer – Average Golf Ball. One has to find the ball that works all round then stick to it regardless of cost. 👍🏼
But can it Kirkland?
Great video and nice to see good options out there. I may give them a try but I do absolutely LOVE my Costco balls. 3 piece and 2 dozen for a touch over $1 per ball.
I got given 3 of these for my birthday. Not tried them yet because of the look of them. They just look rock hard with that strange finish. Will give them a go
Totally agree Andy , been using these for a few months, i will see how they perform in summer, great value !
tried these balls but wasnt impressed , much prefer Bridgestone E6 which Hotgolf sell for 2 boxes for £30
I play my TP5s or chrome softs or Pro-V1. I work on a course so finding high quality balls is easy. If I lose them oh well. But I did hit my first hole in 1 last year with a Pinnacle lol
Been using this ball for about 6 months now (white). I changed from the Tour Response as I didnt like the launch heights from the 2022 version (too high) and the Distance plus was better all round. The Alignment aid is excellent and really helps. For £16 its cheaper than the AD333 et al. and better performing.
I just ordered a dozen white and yellow! Yellow is for my mate! Thanks for the tip!
Did you get a compare of peak height and decent angle – spin looks good, but might not be giving the whole picture.
There are a lot of good balls to pick from. I was the golfer who had different kinds of balls in my bag. One of my golf buddy said once I find a ball that works for my game to only use that ball. I started doing that, and I saw a change in my short game.
The problem with EVERY 2 piece ball that I’ve tried is, they just don’t check and stop on the greens with wedge play.
I guess I should try something different, always used Callaway Soft, Chrome Soft, Hex, Warbird, they all work for me but what the heck, I'll order something new this time.
This is a really interesting review, I'm a 19 handicap and would have been a bit of a ball snob for years but recently I started playing cheaper balls. Like your review has shown, I didn't see a massive drop off in performance. Might give this ball a go 👍
After seeing this review, I came across them on sale at Dick's Sporting Goods in the US for 2 dozen for $38. I had a $10 reward discount, bringing it to $27.09 out the door. At that price, I couldn't refuse.
The ball is labeled as a distance ball. Most type balls in this category feel hard, which you obviously advised felt pretty good off the club face. How were they distance wise compared to the premium golf balls?
