Tiger Woods returned to The Open Championship in 2018 after a two-year absence. The fans and the whole world could not wait to see the three-time Open champion at Carnoustie for The 147th Open.

The American was quick to remind everyone that he has undeniable talent and charisma by playing sensational golf, putting him in contention to lift the Claret Jug for the fourth time.

He was at the top of his game but was unable to capitalise on his hard work – finishing tied for sixth, as Italy’s Francesco Molinari won his maiden major trophy.

Less than a year later, Woods would sensationally win The Masters in 2019 for the fifth time! It is clear that his much-anticipated comeback to The Open was a launchpad for his 15th major trophy victory.

These are a collection of Tiger Woods’ best moments from Carnoustie in 2018. Enjoy!

  1. No one thought he'd win another major before The 2019 Masters and he went and won that.
    Anything can happen!

  2. Does anyone know what the black bandaids/patches are on Tigers neck area? Who is the manufacturer ?

  3. I swear to God, I would end up sucker punching or throwing a bottle of water at the dudes that have to yell at him right when he hits the ball…..

  4. Tiger is still generating similar ball speed to Rory in the high 170s. If he can walk 72 holes he will be able to play for another 10-15 years easily. He will definitely win an Open and few more majors.
