  1. I started doing that shoulder turn drill with the club in my arms between swings at the range. It makes something click for sure. I’ve been striking all my clubs much better of late.

  2. Great stuff in this one Mark. Really helpful.

What ASICS shoes are you wearing here? Are those golf shoes?

  3. Mark, this is such a helpful tip. Thanks for always putting in the time to explain the little things. Great stuff as always and a warm hello from Scottsdale Arizona.

  4. I can get a proper tilt on the backswing but the downswing is where it goes astray. I never thought it was due to the hip movement. Good stuff Mark!

  5. Ive never scene this tip before! Gonna have to work on this. My iron play needs a little something now!

  6. Great instruction Mark!!! I remember a pro once saying he could spot a good player and a bad one at the range from 100yards away just by looking at the shoulder tilts.

  7. Love the videos, cheers from Texas you really do a great job of showing people how to get a feeling in their swing instead of bombarding them with technical thoughts.

  8. That tilt with a driver is what I lack but holy did the exercises my coach give me hurt to do.

Also, look at that wear mark on the club face…

  9. Absolutely knocking it out of the park here. It 100% agrees with what I see week in week out. Great info and as always delivered so so well

  10. Be doing these club drills for a few weeks, even during a round. Really has helped me rotate better and got the ball more solidly, even helped to stop swaying. Simple, easy drill.

  11. I really don’t see a lot of YouTube coaches talk about side bend. Might be cool to see a live lesson with a subscriber on this topic.

  12. Great tip Mark! I try to feel like I am bringing that back shoulder through the ball.

  13. Athletic motion claims to debunk the "side bend myth" using 3d motion tracker sensors. Mark, can you give us your two cents on the contradicting schools of thought?

  14. MarkYou know what makes it easier to do that follow through is do what Scottie Scheffler does move your right foot back it almost feels like your taking a slap shot in hockey and makes it very easy to do .

  15. Moe Norman talked about side bend and hitting from underneath. Side bend & tilt are also staples of the stack & tilt method.

  16. Another drill is to use two alignment sticks.
Place one through your loops of pants so it aligns with your hip. Use the second one across shoulder like Mark used in the video. When you complete your turn the shoulder stick has to go under the hip stick.
Rather than think of what everything is doing you’re focusing on the last part, your body naturally tilts to achieve it.

    Shaved strokes and added distance.

Love Marks videos, get excited when I see a new one pop up.

  17. I love how clear this is demonstrated Mark! Definitely a winner with these examples of what is different and what we’re looking for at impact. It took me a while to explore how to do this and unlearn what I was doing before pulling my body in the wrong sequence and wrong directions. I’m interested in seeing how these drills will help me refine that feel…

  18. Great drills Mark one of the best I've seen. My problem doing this is after contact, the follow through. I tend to stay in the shoulder down position. Any drill for this would be great.

  19. This is gold Mark, it blows my mind why coaches don’t teach this way. Any player who takes on your drills and feels in this Vid will improve so much.

  20. The idea is to feel like you make contact or direct the energy of your swing past the ball. So in order to not jam yourself, you need to create the space w your tilt. It’s very difficult to do this at full speed if you’re learning for the first time. Think long arms through the ball! But oh man when it’s right and you are fully extended with the driver feels so good. I was able to hit up on it for the first time ever once I figured it out

  21. Great video that’ll help a lot of people. Getting more flexible will allow these turns but that starts without a club in your hand.
