I’ve always been told to lean the shaft forward for driver like with irons and always struggled with hitting down on the ball. Great video and something to try at the range 👍🏼

That’s the best free lesson I have ever had.The driver does need changing for a modern example,I noticed the lie angle was far out.I remember this club and I struggled with its performance.without the advice we get from you tube a lot of golfers have no Idea about the settings on modern drivers

struck gold with this one Gaz. Well done Steve, a lot to take in but you hit the ball so consistently well. A lot struck a chord with me, I'm off 12 and never had a lesson and essentially picked up all these elements over the years to stop me slicing (most of the time). Gaz provided all that in a few mins. I didnt play golf for years and came back to it and bought a 11.5 deg driver, also designed to get the ball in the air. Loft would help negate my slice, I thought. Shit, any head wind and the ball would go so high and start coming back towards me :). I now hit a driver with an 8.5 deg loft. Imagine if I had lessons and a fitting.

Show him the 3 types of grip interlocking, baseball and overlapping. Few pros teach the interlock grip which I use nor my life for everything from driver to putter. So did Tiger and Nicklaus. The two best golfers in history. It gives you a more secure and stronger grip in which the hands work as one.

Hi Gary, I like watching your channel, just an idea for you, I’ve seen you struggling with your game of late I’d love to see you do a series of videos on you getting your game back on track. Lots of golfers go through this problem and I’d think lots of people myself included could take a lot from this. Put together a method of what you’d go through to get back to where your obviously more than capable of being. Hope your channel starts to bloom and good luck mate
