  1. I like Matt Nagy, and what he tried to do. He needs more mentoring from Andy Reid, and will be a good head coach. He's learning. Nice guy.

  2. Nagy was always willing to talk about how trash he was as a head coach, he just could not figure out how to not be trash.

  3. Matt Nagy is over-rated and lucky to last the last couple of years coaching the Bears. Wonder the Bears is so in love with KC workers i.e. Nagy, Poles. Oh well we are going to find out this season if they got the right GM.

  4. The Chicago Media is the only media machine in the country that would dwell on this topic! Matt Nagy is no longer the Head coach of the Chicago Bears! In fact he’s in the Super Bowl as a coach now! This is equivalent of needing to talk to your ex 2 years later when your both in a committed relationship! It’s OVER, LET IT GO & GROW UP!

  5. Nagy didnt want to suck so I dont think he deserves the pure vitriol he gets from the base lol Time will ease the pain even Wanny is on TV there and he was way worse than Nagy could have dreamed

  6. I enjoyed his coaching and how we would hit at least 500 every season but then it wasn't sustainable and not only that he just couldn't seem to coach a QB to success or grow or development. So that's why he was let go. It's a shame because after the first season this team the defense anyways looked primed for a championship. But they just couldn't make it happen on offense despite having some great runners there was only Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney and we needed a third receiver and time for kmet as a te to develop and they just didn't produce enough every season to justify keeping nagy around.

  7. I just dont see him as head coach material. It’s okay to be part of the staff and not the head coach. That’s what he is, part of the staff. He was a terrible head coach.

  8. He didnt really go in depth. He just said over and over “yeah i failed”. He didnt really answer any questions. Just a bunch of word salad

  9. I'm not really convinced that Getsy is all that much better at using Fields than Nagy was. It shouldn't have taken him until after the Washington game to figure out how to use him

  10. If Nagy in fact had a "System", he was TOTALLY Incapable of communicating that or teaching that system to his players. Look at how awful the Bears offense was while under his control. When you're a "coach" to someone like Patrick Mahomes, you simply get the hell out of His way and let him perform and improvise on game day and then sit back and take credit for the results. Nagy NEVER knew what the hell he was doing and each year the Bears W/L record got worse and worse… Thankfully the Bears got rid of him. It's possible he will inherit the Head Coaching job in KC but their fans will rue the day when that happens and their franchise will suffer…

  11. I don't think the Fans would have been pissed at Pace or Nagy had they tanked last year, as long as they showed their willingness to help Fields. If Pace started to dismantle the defense last year and Nagy put in plays that are tailored to Fields. They could have stayed. What pissed off fans was Nagy unwilling to change his plays even when he sees how poorly the O-line was.
