The best performance vs the worst one all wrapped up into one.
It is important to remember that every team faces ups and downs throughout a season. Liverpool has shown time and time again that they have a strong mentality and are capable of bouncing back . Thank you ❤️
Klopp looks broken. Their defense and midfield look like a incohesive mess.
Fabinho was poor. He just gave away silly free kicks. Alisson had some bad luck but mostly bad decision-making. Bajcetic and Gomes should never have been on that pitch. More shots need to be taken because running it into the box every time isn't working at the moment, and confidence in taking shots. Robertson was in and decided to pass, which was intercepted but there were other examples. Change is definitely needed. Time to buy superstars instead of building them.

Joe Gómez Singlehandedly came up clutch at the worst possible moments in that game for Liverpool and the manner of those goal snatched the momentum from Liverpool? and once Real Madrid were comfortably back into the tie they didn't look back and I've seen this happen many a times over the years? you cannot train or Coach your mind to focus under such circumstances and again I'll go back to the greatest ever comeback in European club football 05 Istanbul 99.9% of football fans would agree that AC Milan teams was one of the greatest ever very experienced and they imploded? but Liverpools loss very draining because your own player gifted the goals? that's such a mental downer

Last night, Real Madrid’s smart possession in the midfield was there for all to see. For all their running, Liverpool mid doesn’t possess the short passing, quick bursts and creativity of a Luka Modric or Pedri. I think one reason Barcelona do well against Madrid is because their midfield is superior to Madrid’s or of almost equal quality even at theirs worst.
It is very simple. Liverpool need a whole new Midfield and to teach their defenders how to defend. maybe actually and a couple more defenders too. The Attack did their part and scored 2 goals , remember some teams win just by 1/0 not alone ahead 2/0. very sad really.

TAA was a mismatch against vini, TAA was lucky last UCL finals Konate covered for him, even with that, Vini still scored, now there is no Konate, and at times Gomez covered which made it even worse
