  1. Excellent video. I know from personal experience and helping friends with their swing. Path is hardest to fix and teach. They are all entrenched the concept of the arc and the ball is bottom the arc. As soon as they hit the ball the club face is coming back inside. That will be a glancing blow strike no matter if the club face is open or close to cause a slice or weak fade.

  2. Hey Eric, how about a video on low point control. This is a really timely video as I have had to step back from a swing change and break down fundamentals. Love these lesson videos, I feel like most people can pull out nuggets of knowledge to help them practice.

  3. Since I don't have a problem with my grip (as far as I can tell) this specific improvement does not help me, but the whole lesson helps me in a different and important way: your advice on how to carry out a personal campaign of improvement. Although I am a beginner, I think a good campaign strategy should help anyone with his game at any stage. What change should I make? How will I know I am making the right change? How long should I work on only that one thing? That is exactly what was missing from my beginner lessons with my local pro. I left each lesson with a laundry list of what was wrong with my swing. Then, during practice, I tried to do a half dozen different things with every ball, and I made no progress for a long time.

  4. I like all videos Eric. Dude's swing looked great after you tuned him up. I have some of the same problems. Hands and club coming out. I'm really working on the transition. Get my hands down and back as I get to the powerful final rotation through the ball.

  5. Eric you are the man! Love the way you deliver content its so easy to understand and take into your own practise/game

  6. Really enjoy watching a very good teacher at work. Good student, too! Great video, Eric. Thank you. 🦘⛳️🦘

  7. Love the approach of explaining the what to change timing and stages to expect. I find it easy to abandon the long term approach so the more you can describe what the journey will and should look like, and the results to anticipate over time the better. Love the approach you’ve taken

  8. Thanks for this. Very helpful. I'm trying HARD to swing more in to out, and after watching this, I realized I have to fix my clubface first to encourage and facilitate that change.

  9. Another home run. The devil is in the details. I learned a lot about how spinal tilt at the top of the backswing affects swing path in the downswing and why we swing over the top. A classic to be viewed over and over for proper grip, wrist condition and rotation. A true classical piece of instruction.

  10. I like these types of videos. Watching an average player getting a lesson is better than watching a scratch golfer doing the same thing.

  11. Eric is one of the best in the business! Fantastic lesson. Love to watch actual lessons with students. I’d gladly volunteer to fly down there and take a lesson with you for content to post on your channel.

  12. Looking forward to seeing if this is the missing link to what’s been holding me back! A+ on showing the live lesson!!!

  13. This is the first video where I completely disagree. This guys issue was that his left hand grip was too weak. I play a strong (2-3 knuckle) left hand grip with a weak right hand grip. This was after Terry Rowles and mike Adams measured me. I now hit the ball better than I’ve ever hit. The grip matches my release.

  14. Thanks for another great video Eric, thank you. It's great to watch a live lesson and empathise with someone learning to make changes to their swing, so as to play better golf. Please keep up the great content.

  15. Love the live videos. I understand it’s not a one size fits all but there’s definitely certain chunks everyone can take from these. Great stuff.

  16. Excellent video

You covered many of the points to hit a good shot

    Your explanation was
    informative and to the point

A lot of good information here that you may not find in other’s videos

  17. The grip change should change the feeling he has in his shoulders as well. When he had the real weak grip his shoulders were "skrunched" together with a shit load of tension. The strong left hand grip allows his shoulders to be in a more relaxed position. From what I could see.

  18. I swear whenever I got lesson my coachs were never this easy to understand. Eric is the best. They always used goofy descriptions for what they wanted me to do. It was frustrating.

  19. Live lessons are a great format for Youtube videos. Would be great to have this student back in a month and review progress and next steps too!

  20. Instructors take note: THIS is how you teach a student how to fix an issue. I'm still trying to find an instructor that can identify and correct simple issues like this.

  21. I have commented a few times before. You really make the mechanics easy to understand. To the point, where I recognize it is definitely meant for you to teach. Thank you.

  22. Hey Eric awesome video! There is just so many videos you can do by yourself but when you put all of those videos together for a in person lesson is money! Keep do these lesson videos!

  23. Love the detailed lessons. For those of us who learn visually, they are gold! Please do more and possibly some with senior golfers.
