Wilbon is totally correct. The fact that the losing Defensive Coordinator got a Head Coaching job while the winning OC still isn't a head coach tells you exactly what the NFL thinks of Black Coaches
Are you serious I'm very disturbed by his rant considering the fact that we have a guy that's the head of our transportation unit that's talking about racist roads and hiring Pilots based on race and not how good they are so shove it up your ass. I think Caldwell should have a job too, but it doesn't mean he doesn't because he is black. Somehow we can have two ladies do the math for the NASA space shuttles over 60 years ago but now people are two races to hire a black guy for an NFL job

So by Tony's logic, there's no point in hiring a HC unless you have a QB…. Am I missing something? Because I thought you can get a HC then a QB that fits the HC's philosophy.
The Colts have seen Caldwell. He coached them to the Super Bowl with Peyton Manning at QB. He followed that with a 10-6 season with Peyton Manning at QB and a first-round exit from the playoffs. His third season? Without Manning, who sat out the season with a neck injury, he coached the team to a 2-14 record and was fired as one might expect. I don't know Arizona's situation, but why would Indy want to bring back someone with whom their last experience resulted in a 2-14 season? It's always gotta be about race with some people.

He has stepped up his scoring and in the last month he is averaged over 20 points a game. Plus he was the best defender on the Suns. And the guy has not missed a game in his entire pro or college career. That’s who Tony and Michael should be talking about. Not a waste like Ben Simmons.

I agree with Wilbon about good coordinators like Jim Caldwell, Leslie Frazier, and Eric Bienienemy. All 3 of them should be coaching somewhere in the NFL.

Who am I to disagree with Wilbon. I sympathize but I don't think Caldwell is the banner for this topic. Caldwell is a good coach but he is a known product. He is a good man and a good coach, but he isn't a championship caliber coach. His superbowl was late stage Manning. He was also on watch when the colts went 2 and 14 and ended with Andrew Luck.
