Jahmyr Gibbs is only worth a 3rd round pick. He’s more like a younger swift til an ankle injury and slows up, but his quickness is there, but his vision and his runner creativity is lacking to what you’d need for a drafted player to replace swift.
I would lose my mind if we draft a bijan in the first or draft a TE in 3rd round and up. We don't need to go out and get a RB this year, re signing Jamal isn't gonna cost much and we still have Swift for another year. every year there always top 10 RB coming out of the second round look it up. And on the TE thing Ben Johnson can scheme any TE open we don't need to invest high draft capital on a scheme they doesn't work with TE.
If you agree with Ryan then they should take Peter Skoronski at 6. He can play guard until they decide to move on from Taylor Decker. Penei can slide over to left tackle and Skoronski can move over to right. Then take Bijan at 18. You would have 4 first rounders on that offensive line which, on paper, would probably make them the best offensive line going into next season. They could address the D-line then in free agency and get a guy like Cam Smith in the second round to improve the secondary. I would not be against this move but I feel like taking Tyree Wilson at 6 and the best corner available at 18 would be the better move.

These guys mocking a TE to the Lions really need to stop smoking whatever it is they are smoking. The Lions do NOT need a TE. They Need defense, so why waste a 2nd round pick on a TE ? D line, CB, LB, OG, RB, kicker. Safety maybe. If the Lions address one or two positions in FA, that will change things up.
