  1. Great to see Dan Gavins hole that putt, so clutch after what had been before. Top lad, down to earth, and deserves the win – Golf Mates will be celebrating this one!!😉

  2. I think he only did it so sky would give him more coverage, normally you get to see him for 1 shot😡

  3. I am (82) – an old wannabe golfer – I have been watching and playing golf since 1988, I have been watching Daniel Gavins on EUPRO TOUR for a very long time – I always thought that there is absolutely no reason why this fella should not become – / A GREAT GOLFER / – Well I am very happy to say that he has started to write the first page – in what I still firmly believe – will be a great book of his journey in golf. – Very Well Done – Old Sport – My Congratulations,

  4. At first, I really thought it was going to land in that boat. BTW DP World Tour, I hope you realize that you are pointing to the wrong spots at the end when saying to subscribe or watch another video. You should switch this around, unless it is intentional.

  5. Glad he came through in the end. The Caddy must have been dying. Just shows the different pressure not only of the 18th but also to win. Well done Dan Gavins!! 👏👏👏👏

  6. Daniel Son, that was a impressive win! I know on a other level how difficulty it is standing on the 18th tee and bringing the victory home. When i stood as a younger man on the 72nd tee with a two shot lead closing the club championship ss a winner i thought about what all can go wrong. It was a short par 5 with a lake in front of the green. Do i took a instead of a wood a 4 iron…. And shankt it. The ball was nearly out of bounce… From there I did a fearless low cut short with a 4 iron in the thick stuff 135 to the pin. There i stood with the wedge full of hope carrying the lake and reaching the green, and i did a marvelous shot 5 feet to the pin. The 300 people round the green were crying and spending applause and i – i will never forget – made a easy tour greet with my right hand to the crowd. Than on the green the birdie put had to be done and I…. Had the muscles in my arms not under control so that the downhill put never had chance to fall. He was 10 feet to long too and my competitor holed for birdie. This pressure i will never forget but i was concentrated in that moment like i wasn't 71 holes before not. I said to myself, "stay concentrated, be confident, backputs always fall" and i took my pink zing putter, aimed the hol and with a lot of tempo i smashed the ball in the hole! What a moment for me! 4 rounds stroke play and the greatest win till this moment!
You never have to be to shy. I liked that you took the driver and tried zo hit the green with the wood too. Bernd Ritthammer on the 72nd hole of the Porsche eir championship two years ago did not and Paul Casey won. I like your confidence and i hope you will have a great carrier in the next few years. This is not a normal victory with this 72nd hole and exactly this should make stronger. As a viewer i also like such winning moments more than boring golf without ups and downs. Everybody remembers Tigers 16th hole chip and a lot of spectacular moments more he hab. That's the stuff people are looking for and remembering. Your win also is special! Stay safe and good luck for the future!

  7. if God had declared you the winner, you're the winner no matter how you played.

  8. The boy is making us proud. Been following him and his career after watching him on the Golf mates youtube channel. Funny and down to earth guy. Deserves it all.

  9. Looks like Daniel did not know the score, dreadful swing off the tee. On the same day Justin Rose lead in USA on 18, took iron, iron pitch for a comfortable win. Daniel could (should?) have done the same. Congratulations, Daniel.

  10. Situationally its the best double ever. In the middle of a normal round this isn't that crazy at all.
