Apart from Rickie, Justin Rose actually won at Pebble Beach with a fully blended set of these, MB – CB – Tour. Clearly worth trying if a former world no.1 can make them work.

When I sat these at address I was shocked how compact and player-like they were. Haven't hit them yet but I might give them a go. 2023 is maybe the best fairway wood and iron release I've ever seen… gotta love it! Would be cool to have you do a head to head with this year's irons, etc. I'm sure it's on your radar.

The only thing missing was spin. The Tour spun around 6200, assuming the mb was more like 7000?
Not all miss hits are the same. Impossible to quantify those 2 from the MBs, versus the other other irons. In other words there are slight miss hits when you are slightly open but still hit somewhere near the middle, and then there is way open with a strike that's almost off the grooves.. Impossible to say the Tour, or CB would of done better with a comparable strike. I've hit them all, and have found very little difference in " forgiveness" of these irons. Enjoyed the review, and think Cobra deserves some love for these, because they look and feel fantastic. I also played the 2019 mb/cb combo, along with the RF MB, and l think these are a much better set of irons… even though the copper finish on the RF MB was gorgeous.
got fitted for the king tour irons and i've had them a couple weeks now. these irons are the softest feeling irons i've ever hit other than a pure blade. They even feel better than my mizuno mp's . Great job from cobra!!
