  1. Great video Andy. Two BIG pts come out of this video that Average Golfers should embrace: – you a single digit Avg Golfers loves that 5-hybrid Cleveland iron – it speaks to getting far more Average Golfers to remove traditional 5-irons & replace with these types of irons/hybrids (likely the 6 iron as well). Secondly, using a wide-soled club to chip with – 95% of golfers should be ditching pro gap&sand wedges and should be chipping with wide-soled wedges

  2. Pretty sure I have commented before that I don’t care what it looks like if it makes the game easier…….but I can’t get over the chunky looks. I may change my mind after trying them though

  3. Thanks for doing this comparison. I have the Clevelands, love them. Was "lusting" over the Taylormade Stealth HDs. Probably will just stay with the Clevelands. If money falls from heaven I'll go check out the Taylormades.

  4. I think feel will be key to what you go for, I tried the hybrid irons but they were to brutal and hard sound/ feeling . The Titleist T400 were much better feeling and split sole gives good turf interaction. looks like the HD is doing that a bit as well with the chamfered sole. But whatever game/super game improvement iron you pick it’s got to be better than the “good” looking irons unless you are a pretty low handicapper. Another well known you tuber plays game improvement irons for that reason and he is a pro!!!

  5. A good video! As some for feed back for you. My golf buddies and myself, all late 60s and high handicappers have tested both of these clubs, plus the Wilson launch pad and the Cleveland XL very similar to the Halo. We all found that we preferred the look and feel the Cleveland Halo, and during a fitting at Golf Town in Canada we found that the Cleveland Halo came out on top.

  6. One of your better reviews that will interest so many golfers, especially older golfers with swing problems or anyone who looks at price, which most of us do.

I own three sets of clubs, a wonderful old set of Tommy Armour 845’s Silver Scots that are heavy and made of steel, a new set of Cobra XL fly and my new full set of Cleveland XL Halo Hybrid irons.

I have now sold the Cobra XL Fly full set and settled into my Cleveland hybrid irons and without any lie I think they are what many “not so good golfers” should try.

No digging up soil with bad divots with these babies, just a nice sound and off they go.

Don’t just take my word just go and try them out, they won’t disappoint.

You can thank me later 😊

  7. I got a set of Cleveland’s just over a month ago to replace my 20 year old callaways and i must say very impressed so far. 4+5 irons harder to hit but when you do they sure go and the rest are just so consistent and easy to play with added yardage

  8. Thank you so much for this video. It was EXACTLY the review I have been looking forward to seeing. I am definitely in the market for these clubs (I've also been looking at the cobra t rail hybrid irons as well). Did you find that the Cleveland felt lighter that the taylormade? Wonderful review…I could have watched for a half hour more it was so informative!🙂

  9. Simple , no they're just too ugly .
I don't want aclub that covers up my mistakes how are you going to get better ?

  10. i just priced these up at lefthanded golf, both in graphite and the TM are £999 for 7 irons, and the cleveland are £627 for 7 irons so TM are £53.00 per club more and the way andy was hitting those clevelands i know which i would buy

  11. I game the taylormade m cgb irons and they help tremendously. I would consider the stealth hd as 5, 6 & 7 irons.

  12. Great video, thanks. Am about to take delivery of a set of Cleveland irons that I got for just under £90 per club which I now feel is a bit of a bargain. As a 19 handicapper your description of how these clubs perform is so helpful.

  13. GREAT video!!! 🔥I’m a 12 handicap and putting the TaylorMade HD’s in my bag with the KBS Max regular graphite shafts! 🔥🔥🔥

  14. I am looking to replace my 4/5/6 irons and the HD look a good option but don't know if they can be purchased individually.

  15. This is to all the golf snobs out there. 90% of all golfers should be playing this type of club. I have been adapting hybrid style clubs for 30 years and although I am pushing 73 I have been out playing most fellas with ease for all of that time. Drop your ego. There just tools to score better 👨🏻‍🦳⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️🇨🇦

  16. Thanks Andy I prefer the look of the TM over the Cleveland I’ve got the PXG 0211 but getting older and want to make it easy as I can I’ll go try both

  17. Hey Andy…. Did you check out the spin rates of the TM HDs? That’s why I love my 799s from Sub70. Ty for another nice video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  18. I had the Cleveland HB and then the HB turbos. Now I have the halos. The stealth HD s look feel sound and preform. Just like the HB turbos. For slower swing speeds the halos are way better especially in the higher irons.

  19. great video but I must still play the old Stealth irons. by the way doesn't Callaway make an iron that looks kike these
