He nailed the part about staying loose, and relaxed until the actual hit. It works.
Good stuff! I use breathing and awareness to relieve tension when I swing. Inhale slowly through nose and exhale slowly through the nose. I focus on a relaxed feeling in my shoulders and arms at address. Inhale during back swing and exhale during down swing.
Great video this is great info. Tension for sure is a killer in golf. My college coach used some thing similar but we took our arms out of our jackets and started swinging the sleeves using body and sequencing! Great video, I still use this idea 30+ years later. People always say to me it looks like you hardly swing and it’s dead straight a long. ( remove tension gain distance) ie: Mr. Couples. LPGA etc..
I think this is EVERY golfers issue as they are always trying to hit the snot out of the golf ball but does not go as far as expected. Or hitting out of anger because they had a bad shot.
