Love this, Micah & Mike!!! I think this is a problem that low handicap players run into and it's hard to get back on top of the plane because we feel like we're going to slice it worse… when in reality, this neutralizes our swing and works like a charm! Cheers guys 🙂

I just spent 90 minutes in a sim bashing driver earlier tonight and I need to feel opposite of what you’re doing here. I hate driver. I hate it so much now that I think I’m gonna quit this game. I got to a +hcp this last year with a $*+%y driver. None of this would work for me. Nobody seems to be able to help me understand what to do. This video is demoralizing.

Micah has one of the most efficient swings I've ever seen, so he really doesn't need much 'fixing'. Hope he does not go down too many rabbit holes chasing 'perfection', because it will lead to disaster. He ought to concentrate more on 100 yds and in than worry too much about overall swing mechanics.

Man this video helped me more than anything I've seen or heard from any instructor. The way he explained the correct swing path really opened my eyes to what I'm doing wrong. My path has always been way inside and try to hold off the face and I have the push or I get handsy and flip a hook. I would always set up open and try to swing across it to get the the path correct. This really helped. Also was pushing the right knee forward in the downswing.
I mean with that camera angle you swing will look way more shallow then it is. It’s vital when making swing analysis that the camera be positioned right behind the hands at hand level or you will get a distorted perception of what’s really going on.

Man, just found this video by happenstance and so glad I did! I’m working on fixing my, what I call flat, backswing and swing plane on my driver and this video is a wonderful tip! Mine also was that I had too strong of a grip, right hand too far underneath on takeaway, and that led to a right away flattening of my backswing. Great stuff and thanks! Cheers.
