The older style has less venting so I like them now for the fall to early spring. The trainer style I think is more suited for hot weather months.
Yesterday's video on your channel reminded us this is a sport. Athleticism matters. A trainer style shoe is also termed an athletic style shoe. lol Guess which one I wear. I have two pair the older of which is White and Black, and the new ones are Black and White. lol
I jumped at the chance to get a light trainer-style late last year. With over 2200mm of rain this year, I miss a bit of water-proofing! Great to hear trainer-styles can have water-proofing.
