  1. I have zero interest in brand new clubs and this Callaway release just confirms it. Nothing revolutionary introduced and it even looks like ideas have been cloned from other brands and they expect punters to pay more money for it? Madness.

  2. I love the name. Paradym. As in Paradym shift. A shift in the way you play the game. James Robinison didn't like the name either but he is murdering the ball with it.

  3. I quite like the look of the driver except that the little chevron is missing, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be prepared to spend that much on a club no matter how good it is.

  4. Go back to the ERC Fusion design from about 15 years ago and you can find a similar build. It was a design they just didn’t have the “AI” help to make it work as well as this one appears to. Even with my slow swing speed I broke one and true to their word about warranty they replaced it for me. That was, to me, all I needed to know they were a customer oriented company.

  5. Paradym is a better name than Mavrik or RAZR Hawk. And for the color, it looks like a blue bowling ball.

  6. UDesign can hopefully fix the visual. Maybe carry the blue onto the top? My brother has a deep red Epic with red accents on the bottom. It is the prettiest driver I've ever seen…

  7. So let’s get this right, they think someone might re work their bag and get a new driver, fairway and hybrid, set of irons and a new putter. That could easily be £1200 for the woods, £300 for the putter and £7-900 for the irons. So about £2500 max mmm I’ll be buying none of that, any performance issue in my clubs is the ape swinging them! I have a course of lessons I paid for back in august not used yet that take priority over any club investment

  8. Nice review Andy! I’ve always favored Callaway’s, but these won’t get any of my money.

  9. These stix are going nowhere; looks like a Kmart quiver of tools for an oil derrick, but that's just me.

  10. By the time I calculate having a professional advise me which new clubs suite my swing, and which upgraded shaft they will recommend ( obviously, they NEVER pick the standard shafts), the NEW PRICE of either a single or entire set of clubs increases by an additional 60%) ( which includes their charge to swing test, plus their recommendations of specialty shafts). Then, I calculate how many times the average person plays golf each month – even with all the new hype and fancy marketing – then, when he realizes by getting more accurate on short game & putting will better lower scores – spending the crazy price tag applied on 'advance technology' makes a NO-SALE for most golfers. Oh – golf will always have those who enjoy boasting that they have more money than you, so they have no problem buying new clubs. But most golfers have proper names for those Ding-Dongs. Possibly, spending money on golf lessons to improve a better quality strike will more improve scores, and bring golf companies down to reality.

  11. Nice review Andy. Interesting they removed high toe hybrid. Might looking at it, as previous versions never appealed to me. No sheep harmed I hope. Some of my buddies might thin some of the tee shots 🙈

  12. I quite like the way the irons, Fairway and hybrids look but I'm not interested in New clubs this year. I just want to play more golf and get better with what I have.

  13. Always love your reviews, but you state that their new driver is £529, which is extortionate. But you're wearing a £220 Moncler beanie. Just saying 👍

  14. You said it right at the end; "Good but not good enough. " Besides, that driver is butt ugly. So far, the Srixon range is winning with its looks and materials used.

  15. If you have the money and fancy new clubs surely treat yourself. If you dont simply working on you're game will shave off strokes.

  16. IMO the golf companies are taking the pi$$ with prices today….for that kind of money I'd want a 100% guarantee that I'd be playing scratch golf and never hit a bad shot again….(one can but dream)…but certainly won't be going in my bag anytime soon…good unbiased revue though Andy….

  17. Really enjoyed your review, am impressed that Callaway has gone back to adjustability with its clubs unfortunately the price is ridiculous. Too high for me I’ve moved on to Tour Edge brand prices are reasonable with quality

  18. New club in my bag yesterday, but one year old driver that is brand new. Price was great due to the new introductions. Really enjoy your reviews.

  19. Wasn’t planning on buying new clubs this year because I snatched up some PXG’s during their fire sale in the fall. But….. I’m definitely going to have a look into this model and into the new Srixon MKII
    Great review Andy !

  20. Not purchasing any new clubs, well satisfied with G425’s and the expense of new outweighs any difference new clubs could bring 👍

  21. I would not focus so much on the looks. Performance and dispersion I think is what most people care about.

  22. I'm going the end of the month for a full bag fitting. I've played the same clubs for almost 10 years so it's time for an upgrade. The one good thing about all these new models coming out is that I should be able to get last years model at a discount price.

  23. I think it was MrShortGame's video of the callaway launch event where he interviewed the guy and his marketing team that's only job is to name something……he also said it was just him, he had a team of people who helped come up with the name Paradym. Yikes. We have companies spending God knows how much money to literally, I repeat, name something. No wonder their driver is stupid expensive.

  24. Like watching the reviews, just as I like window shopping.

Will be spending my spare cash on lessons! Thanks for the review.

  25. I have 15 yr old clubs. I've come across some more money and can now renew my gear. I'll be buying driver and irons. wedges and putter I'm fine.

  26. Andy. New subscriber here. I have been hearing more lately about fairway woods being easier for average golfers to hit for consistency vs. hybrids. What are your thoughts?

  27. Gonna get fitted for Paradym driver, hopefully along side a TSR3.
    And on a serious note..
You have players dropping $250 – $700 on a shaft.
Every time you golf a round, youre spending $25 – $150 depending on the course.

  28. What I appreciate most about these newly released, very expensive clubs, is that I can now purchase clubs from a few years ago for a reasonable price.

  29. Going to the Callaway Performance Center in Scottsdale in March for a complete bag fitting. Hopefully, the results will be a noticeable improvement over my current Callaway clubs. I don’t like the prices, but am willing to pay if I like the performance.

  30. Paradyme!????? Does that mean it costs 20 cents. If so I will take 2 please. Just kidding these are great clubs. Callaway the last 2 models, have done a marvelous job of making clubs that someone slightly less talented than John Rahm can hit. I have a rogue from last year and have hit more fairways than trees for the first time in my life. Being 76 years old that is a significant statement.
