These really introduced the idea of MOI in the 80’s and were very popular as people wanted science on their side. Let us know your thoughts and memories in the comments below.

Slotline!!??? I thought it was Liquid Metal. I find these all the time.
i'd love to see a tour pro use one in a comp. 😁I have had a few of these but never used them for i didn't like the look. maybe i will give it a go although i don't think i'll see much diference in my putting . i use many putters and the improvements i found are always me. A more difficult putter makes you concentrate more ?
Match that up with some Tommy Armour Silverscot irons. I have one of these and a Ping Pal and I like the looks of the Ping better but the SlotLine rolls better for me anyway.
So glad to see this. A couple years ago, I found an almost-pristine Slotline at Play-It-Again-Sports (with like-new head cover) for under $20. It was a great putter in the 80's, and it still is: Easy to line up and very forgiving. I have a nice set of Ping original Eye irons (not Eye2) from back when that I'll often match with the Slotline.
Never really liked the feel of the aluminum face on those Slotline inertial putters.
The problem is that they age bad. They don’t get that good patina you want in an old club and I think the design team didn’t make them timeless. I had one. Tried to make it look like new but I never got that ”I want to take you to my bed-feeling” that you get with a vintage Anser or a polished Bulls eye.
Love my Slotlines! Glad you finally reviewed one. You tried so hard to hate them but it seems like they performed much better than you expected. 😂
