  1. Having a Custom fitting tomorrow for the 5 & 4 Hybrids to replace my older G Series 5 Crossover & 4 Hybrid. Undecided if I will go for a G430 – 3 hybrid in favour of a possibly a G430 7 wood, will have to see how the ball flight & distance is.

  2. I can’t imagine there’s any significant gain over my g425 hybrids….. I have those dialed in perfect for distance and spin when I connect nicely. I like the hot off the face sound they make but that’s me.

  3. Cheers Dan. I`ve been using the Titleist TS2 Hybrids (H4 and H3) for a few years now and love em. I also find the H4 is more like a 4 iron on steriods (ie it flys a bit further than I kind of need it to), so my gaping from a 5 iron to my hybrid is not ideal.
I`m impressed with the 425 last season in testing but I`m holding off to try these.
What is the feel/sound like in the 430? They look fantastic.

  4. Yes it’s better as the screw weight on the sole looks more flush so less damage to the headcover

  5. Dan is the sound on the fairways/hybrids more muted than G425? I have the 5 and 7 wood and the 4 and 5 hybrids in the 425. Other than that tinny Ping sound they're awesome.

  6. Hi, good concise review, thank you! I currently use the G425 4, 6 and even 7 hybrids, and love them! I now realise that I do actually need a 5H as well now, so I don't have to think too much about gripping down/up, etc!
As someone else has commented, I'm not convinced there will be any gains to be had over the G425, but that's perhaps a good thing, as my gapping would then probably be all over the shop lol!!
I'll certainly demo them when I can, if only to satisfy my curiosity!!
Noise to 1 side, and I like current noise btw, have you noticed any differences in feel or flight, etc?
    Cheers
    Andrew

  7. I actually have the G425 Ping 4 hybrid and find it interesting that this video was my moment I realized that the sound does not make a difference to me. I have had this club for some time and hit it many times and I couldnt actually tell you what it sounds like so next time I hit it I am going to try to pay attention to see what it sounds like.

  8. I will be getting the 5, 6, and 7 hybrids along with the 430 irons. I am in my 50’s now and carrying a 4.9 handicap (lowest) since I went to game improvement clubs. Keep the videos coming.

  9. I swore that this would be the year I stayed away from buying any new clubs. Torture me some more, why don' cha?

  10. I'm trying to find the 4 iron to machine my clubs got a random 1 in atm . Hybrid goes too high on our course but still got mine as a back and for away days 🤣

  11. I like to play a hybrid but play a 19° so assume a 2/3 iron replacement. I do carry a 4 iron but sometimes a 22° hybrid in its place. The 22° needs replacement so I will probably demo the 430 as it seems it would benefit me. Great review as always Dan.

  12. I ditched my hybrids (just as you mentioned Dan) because of the left miss. I am very satisfied with my Titleist U500 4 iron and U505 3 iron so I don’t think I “ll be switching to hybrids again but if I would than the Ping Hybrid would definitely be one to test 👍🏽

  13. Brilliant review Dan thanks, short simple and to the point instead of others typical long winded reviews!!! Would ask to see club speed too with ball speed to get idea of how fast your swinging for reference if possible?

  14. Good review Dan and always subject to each individual but what reviews do do is give people something to think about rather than going in blind and maybe talked into something that really doesn’t suit them.
I known that happen just because of sales in certain manufacturers and maybe the “fitter” Being influenced in money.
Hopefully that doesn’t happen to much nowday but who knows keep up the good work dan always a pleasure to watch what you put out always a supporter of your channel also hoping that I’m able to sort out being able to come to one of your trips you guys do

  15. Will start off the 2023 season with Callaway Apex19 3 & 4 hybrids but depending on how the season progresses might get swapped for SIM DHY, p760 set irons or maybe the SIM Ti 5w finds it's way back in the bag.

  16. I thought you had your Frankenstein creation of a 3 hybrid in the bag this year? Did you swap it out for a 7 wood?

  17. Good review, just enough information but not too much 👍🏼. Regards the single dot being near the heel, I would say that was to allow for your angle of view at address, effectively putting the ball in the center from toe to heel.
