Is it just me? I have a M6 hybrid. Not seeing much of a change in tech outside of the plus. Speed pocket, twist face. It's all the same. TM makes wonderful clubs. Just feels like they are making "new" lines just because we are all too stupid to stop buying the same regurgitated products over and over. Fantastic video as always Dan. Rant over.
Have the original Stealth Plus. Identical to the Mk2. Great that it is a bit fade biased 'flatter' as I hooked nearly every other one during the fitting. Ping also does a flat setting that has the same 'don't go left' idea. I guess TM have used this as the default and then allow you to go upright.
I have the sim2 19.5 that replaces my 3 iron. It's a rocket. I don't think there was ever complaint about the taylormade hybrids, it is player preference, brand preference I think for most. What nice about taylormade, titleist you know what to expect when it comes to their woods…
They need to change?
Hybrids just don't seem to change much. Interesting if you can speak about the stock shafts of all the new models/ Very happy w/my Sim 22 degree rescue, see no need to upgrade.
Bet price new lol😂
Good review. TM rebranding is usually through the set, whether there are improvements in some areas or not. This leaves us with the problem of which clubs at any new launch, are worth the money.
dan man, the letter h is pronounced aitch not haitch!
Evening all
Have to say I’m really missing the vlogs. You’ve kind of lost me with the current content.
Hi Dan Great Video👍,
In June bought Stealth Rescues 4, 5, & 6, they performed best in fitting👍, they fit perfectly in between my 7wood & 7iron👌, and love them (my go to clubs)👍,Like’s :- Great performance, neutral flight, Lovely Feel, top quality 50gram graphite shafts
Dislikes:- No line up logo on head’s, Black club face, non adjustable head, Rubbish alignment mark on top of face, (who looks on top of the face) to line up shots🥶,As you can see from my Dislikes Love the New updates on the Stealth 2,But will cost too much to upgrade to New Stealth 2s, like the sound of the HL models (not sure about the stretched heads🤔
Think TaylorMade must’ve listened to Golfers👍with the updated’s, Thanks Dickey 9hcp 75year Senior Golfer
Nice review dan. They do look nice, I think it would bug me if I wanted a certain look but they model didn't suit me. Still don't see the point of a fixed head when you can buy an adjustable and customise it as you need too. Hoping for some course vlogs soon
I’ve realised I’m a ‘course vlog only’ type of guy. Just not really interested in these equipment vlogs. Sorry. 😴😴
I remember the good old days when there was actual golf on this channel. I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but you're losing me with endless reviews.
we are at a saturation point with the tech in golf clubs. The tech has maxed out the performance to the limits of the restrictions. Basically the thing most of us are looking at now, is does this have the same tech as my current one that needs replacing so that i can set it up to match my current swing patterns. Dan demo'd in a nutshell how fitting is vital. Had Dan been a regular mid to high handicapper, and had he bought the Plus without the ability to set the lie up, his game would have been worse off (short miss right and overspin) and he'd have been working on his swing for months changing things without needing to. If your equipment is not fitted to you, then go get it fitted, and if it has no adjustment (bonded shaft) go get fitted for a new one.
I've never seen able to hit TM clubs since the R9. I don't like the twist face. That's just my opinion, though. Some of my friends are smoking the drivers.
I'm still playing the jetspeeds….no desire to change, they have years left in them!😁
It would be interesting to see a comparison between the current model and the new one.
Looks exactly like the m2 2016
changed anything ? yep the graphics & the price.
Defiantly not a fan of hybrids, I tend too pull them right. Currently will stick with my 3 iron.
