My review of the new Srixon golf irons, the ZX4 ZX5 & ZX7 MKII model new golf clubs for 2023. These irons suits different types of golfers and different handicaps, some forged irons and other a cavity & hollow construction for extra ball speed for more distance along with forgiveness.
Other new iron releases are TaylorMade Stealth HD, Mizuno JPX923, Cobra AeroJet, Callaway Paradym, Ping G430, Titleist T100 T200 T300 plus many more.

Very impressed with the spin. Srixon irons were knocked for not spinning enough and it seems they have addressed it. Can't wait to get fit!
I like ❤️
The zx7’s look awesome. I didn’t like the sound of either the zx5 or zx7’s when they first came out. I’d like the try the mark 2’s though…….. ⛳️😁⛳️
Great video. My go to channel for an honest golf club review.
I wonder if you’ve considered demoing full scoring club range, at least 8-PW, I’d do the 7 as well. The point being you’d see what the gapping would be for the most precision range of the clubs. I mention that in this particular test because of the crazy lofts.
A 28.5 7-iron seems crazy. The result is you’re stuck w/large loft gaps of 5* in all scoring irons or you’re carrying at least 5 wedges. That 28.5 is 0.5 weaker than my 5 iron. While the ZX7 is 2* stronger than my gamers, that’s a pretty simple adaption and the lofts are in 4* steps throughout scoring range, thus I’d expect a nice 12-15 yd gap👍. As hot as those ZX4 faces are, would the 5* gaps be 16–18 yd gaps? Maybe more?
Maybe it’s less of issue for intended golfer as that skill level is typically not a consistent ball striker.
Anyway, that’s just a thought. Completely agree, the Szixon line of irons is extremely underrated
28.5 Deg 7 iron….. lol
Thanks Michael for another quality review. I’ve had the fives in the bag since November and couldn’t be happier. They have added distance and control to my game here in Australia.
Thanks for a great review Michael, I have now promised myself that my next Irons will defo be Srixon 👍👍
PS nice to see you adding some glimpses of the surrounding hills👍👍
Please do an "on course" video…
Killer irons!
Michael, The face of the ZX5 is a forged SUP10 Steel. The ZX5 IS a two piece FORGED club. The ZX7 is a one piece FORGED club. The ZX4 is a Forged face only club. The utility is a forged face & body……All forged in Endo I believe. Srixon does it right!
Play old zx7 s awesome irons
Michael , what about a comparison video : ZX7 v new Mizuno 923 forged ! Thanks .
The ZX5's face is forged (SUP10 steel). The body is a forged 1020 carbon steel.
What shafts were you using in those please?
You can get some great deals on used Srixon clubs. I'm gaming a used set of ZX5s.
Correction: zx5 face is also forged along with the frame. But it is multi piece construction making it not quite as buttery as a one piece forged.
I like that you're throwing some new camera angles in there, Michael.
Really interesting test. The ZX5 is of most interest to me. The spin brought down the carry and levelled it out with the ZX7. But, I love how easy it seemed to launch. Wonder if that will carry over to my test, as it's something I may be looking for.
Hi Michael, thanks for another quality review. I'd be very interested to hear on where you think the Wilson D9 forged would fit against these? Would it fit kind of in between the zx7 and zx5?
Just got fitted for the ZX7s today. They felt great, I can’t wait to get them and get out on the course 🏌️👍🏼
They're identical to my bridgestones from 2015
