This is a super simple iron drill that will make you hit the irons SO MUCH BETTER. I can’t tell you how many clients have used this drill and have seen so much improvement. In this video we are looking at iron setup, to make sure the iron set up is right. All of these things are so important and contribute to you hitting the golf ball longer, hitting the golf ball further, hitting irons more accurate, hitting them straighter, longer and more consistent.
Iron tips must be simple as irons so hard to hit! We all want to hit the iron longer, hit the iron straighter, hit the iron further, hit more fairways.
This is a iron tip for any level of golfer. Beginner golfer, mid handicap golfer… This is a simple iron tip that will help you square the club face, hit your iron straighter and hit more fairways and lower your score!

Hello everyone!! Just want to say HAPPY NEW year! Let me know in the comments here what your goals are for 2023
My longest iron is a 7-iron (7, 8, 8, PW)
… then I have a 5-hybrid and a 4-hybrid
I lean on my hybrids and have a wide range of yardages with them, either choking down and/or forward shaft lean. Pretty much anything over 150 yards
I learnt to play only with irons for the first 2 years…. Then introduced woods. So even now, years on, I still prefer an iron in my hand and like to work the ball from time to time when called for. 4iron and a utility iron in the bag thats 18 degree at present. Weakest club in the bag as probably expected, my driver. But I am working a hell of a lot to fine tune a consistent set up and swing over winter.
Can’t get on with hybrids. So I’ve got a 7 wood 👍
Do you not find strike spray far easier to use for this?
What? Your saying to move the ball forward (left foot) like iron for you shorter club? I’m confused as I thought if you move the ball at all for shorter club would be (from middle) to the right?
