For guys who hit under the pro standard, not gonna be able to tell much of a difference
I am a believer that it’s the Indian and not the arrows that makes a difference!!
Just shows it's not the club , it's the clubie
I always use old clubs.
I'm old. And poor.
I have a Stealth Driver and for weeks I had it set to standard and struggled to hit it. With some help from the Pro at my local range we played with some of the head and shaft settings and I’m now getting 30 yards more and more consistent straight shots. I think to get the best out of this club you need to play around and find what works for your swing.
Great video, I'd like to see you do the same type comparison with to equal priced (average used priced) drivers. Thanks
What a brilliant video. I have aways thought top end Taylor Mades are not very forgiving. Ping or PXG are more consistent. Not sure if they are better than the 410 I traded in….
Unless you are making money playing golf or just have a lot of it, it’s not worth paying $$$ for a modern driver IMO.
The Stealth sounds so bad too.
fun watch…
I still game a 2010 Callaway Diablo Octane Tour. I have owned every modern driver from 2016 to now. None have bumped the old Diablo out of the bag
Hey, you said 3000 likes earlier! She's not getting off that easily. We demand Ashley in the simulator!
60 yards of roll out 😂
Golf clubs & new cars are the same" Lose money right when you leave the parking lot…" I cannot remember when i bought a new club….?
I think the winner is…………US Great vid again , you guys rock 🏌♂️💥⛳️❤️
This is crazy, would you recommand this driver for a mid handicap player? i use PING G30 now that works fine but not more than that, I had SIM2 with I didn't like (used to slice all the time) and for 30-4-USD and seeing you hit 290 with it sound like a great deal!
Pro's.. .
I have always been told that the shaft is the 'engine' of the club while the head provides forgiveness. So any ballspeed gains are down to shaft specs – even the most forgiving and springy heads won't result in distance without the correct shaft.
The shaft in the Stealth is not a good shaft. Ventus makes 2 versions of each color, Blue, Red, Black. The stock shafts are garbage. Might be a $25 shaft. Their version with the Velocore are the ones everyone on Tour is playing. That’s a $360 shaft. Thanks for the video. Yes, manufacturer’s are lying to us. What’s a 10% bigger sweat spot anyway? ⛳️🏌🏽♂️
Good to see that comparison, I don't play as much as used too anymore, gut when test a modern Cobra driver against my old TM R11S during the year, there was at most 5 yards of difference, the Cobra sounded more like a Pro Striking it with a little bit better dispersion, but absolute minimum for me.
Lol i literally upgraded from the 909 D to the stealth last spring. Then when my stealth face broke went back… distance is similar but there is definitely a smaller dispersion on the stealth.
Should have used that Wilson D100
I bought a 909D3 2 years ago from golf galaxy for $45 and love the club!
I think someone needs to tell Ashly that when she repeats that she's rooting for the underdog, it's not really a secret! LOL. Good video, though. It's interesting that things are that close, but maybe not surprising as the technology that goes into drivers hit the limits of the PGA rules long ago; the differences are on the fringes.
Great video. Yeah, those new drivers look sexy, but it's hard to justify that $500 bucks for only a few more yards. Keep the Titleist and spend the $500 on a couple lessons and a bunch of range balls.
