In tonights video I take on PGA Professional and fellow golf You-tuber James Robinson at Aviara Golf Club in California. But we play with the latest irons from TaylorMade the P770, P7MB and P7MC and choosing the wrong irons can prove to be very costly.

  1. Considering these in a mixed set of 770s with the P7mc in short irons.. just wish i could play the MB

  2. I am not sure if distance should be an issue when choosing between playing a blade or a hollow body. James says he reaches 160 yards with a 7 iron P7MB and 170 with the 70. I normally reach 155-160 yards with my 7 iron P7MB and if I want to get to 170, I use my 6 iron. I never played the P770 but the difference for me would probably be to have a better control on the green with the blade. If I am looking for more foregiveness, on the other hand, I agree that the P770 should be in the bag instead. But feel matters for me too.

  3. I really enjoy these kind of demos with James. I’m looking into a whole new bag this winter and definitely going with a blended set.

  4. So are these clubs so much better than the Takomo irons? They look so much alike you can’t tell them apart from a distance
