  1. Hi, thank you for this informative review! May I ask plse if you are planning to demo the new Ping G430 hybrid range? Similar to the new irons, I'd be very surprised if they could 'better' the G425 hybrids, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if they did!?
    Many thanks
    Andrew

  2. I've got a set of Ping G15 Irons. I'm a huge fan of Ping. Really want to upgrade them to something with more tech. Considering Ping G430, i230 and also as a wildcard considering Takomo 101/101Ts to save some money. I will be setting up an iron fitting at a local golf outlet soon as I haven't been fitted in years. Thanks for this video!

  3. Playing the Titleist T300s in 2022. Tried the Ping G430 Irons. Decent iron head. Comparable performance to the T300s. However, the Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal Irons easily out performs the G430s and T300s.

  4. You always know what you're going to get with a Ping G iron. Lots of help, built to last, high quality fitting and after sales support for the life of the clubs. Not prize winning looks or best for feedback but a very very playable set of irons.

  5. Good comparison. To be honest, at least in my opinion, the g425 looks much better. The cavity back of the g430 looks a little cheap 😬. Those little pieces don’t seem to line up quite right. It’s a shame.
Ping long irons are unmatched in terms of forgiveness and ease of launch. Their secret is the large amount of bounce they build into those irons which is essential to helping that launch. However there is a drawback to that extra bounce. Because the set is progressive the bounce increases as you get to the shorter irons and I believe it’s in double digits for the 9 iron and Pw. I’ve found that much bounce in the short irons, where you ostensibly don’t need it because of the loft, is detrimental. Those shots can balloon and it’s difficult to flight those shorter clubs down. That being said this club isn’t probably meant for a player that flights shots but even on normal swings I’ve found those short irons to actually go shorter than normal and the faster/harder I swing the more it balloons.
I game the i525s and I had to have the lofts strengthened in 8-PW to fill distance gaps. Everything is spot on now but it took some tweaking. Keep up the good work 🏌🏻‍♂️

  6. Have had my 425s for two yrs, hit the 923 hot metals last wk … very impressed. Better feel, and distance.
There might be a switch coming.

  7. 5%better. How on earth you can feel 5% difference also taking into account the number of balls you have hit. After the 5% remark of you I lost my interest and you your credibility. Sorry.
