  1. Sub 70, New Level, are just a couple I've seen or heard of in the DTC market. Takomo seem to be the kne to beat rigbt now though.

  2. Another great deal is the Cleveland UHX combo set (cavity back pw to 8 iron, hollow body 7 iron to 4 iron). And they are very long without the lofts being too ridiculously strong. 7 iron is 30 degrees. About a club or more longer than my Ping G25s. The shorter irons look very blade like at setup with a slightly thicker topline. I use the 4 as a driving iron. Got them in steel shafts at Golftown in Canada for CDN$800 (about US$600). Very forgiving and feel great. Several good reviews on YouTube.

  3. Love the DTC revolution really puts some of the power back into the consumers hands. Look into Haywood Irons they are beautiful and offer really good value.

  4. Been gaming the 201 for a year and absolutely love them (I'm a 4 index) – I cam from PXGs and the Takomos feel waaaaaay better. I think the Sub 70 look even better but the Takomos performed way better for me with same shafts and specs. But I would consider them and New Level as well. But can't beat the price of Takomo especially if you know what your specs are. I have played C Taper S for years so it was an easy transition for me as I got everything I wanted.

  5. I have the 201's and they are something special. I am a 12 handicap and they are very playable even at my skill level. I have tried alot of irons this year (what a phenomenal year for golf equipment) and for the price, these are by far the best kept secret on golf.

  6. You need to check out the orka brand clubs they are incredible. English brand, quad forged, completly custom built to tighter tollerances and less money

  7. Stephen and Bubbie from Good Good are sponsored by them. I am genuinely interested in a set. Beautiful irons. Good stuff Matt. Cheers

  8. We needed the line ‘And they’re priced good!’. Great review – these do seem to be well liked and a consideration for many

  9. Has anyone heard of a Club Brand, "Tech Edge"? Lol can't find anything anywhere and figured this place would be the best for some possible answers lol

  10. i don't see them as crazy cheap when you look at what irons you could get 2nd hand is good condition…

  11. I've purchased the lazrus rainbow wedges which you reviewed, looks great and very pleased with them, are you goin to review the iron sets out.

  12. Crazy this just came out my 101ts just arrived last night after 2 months of waiting. taking them to the VR today to see how they stand up to my mizuno pro 223s

  13. Try out the Maltby clubs from GolfWorks.

I have a full set of clubs from them and they perform, sound, feel and look good.

  14. Elon Musk has made the Crypto investment so easy for everyone to make Fast and reliable Rio setting up an investment with the guildiance of a professional

  15. Hi, i am fighting with myself get new irons and also Takomos. I play Titleist Ap2 and also Wilsin C300 forged. My problem is? No testing and what to use? I mean T101 are more strong lofted? How about Gaping? Mhhhhh but great clubs for great value!

  16. I am so interested in this brand club. I'm seriously thinking on ordering the 201's. But, and possibly a big but, I've read a few reviews on their site that some are reporting club heads Rusting. Do you have any thoughts on this or has anyone used these long enough to see how well they hold up? Thanks

  17. These look great and I love the DTC model. The strange thing is that after looking at them and the Sub70's, some of them look very similar. The Sub70 is great because they are 100% money back no matter what for 60 days compared to Takomo or New Level. If you get a custom set up on either the Takomo or New Level you can't return them but you can with Sub70. I am in the market for new irons and I am on a budget and because of the better return policy and the demo program I am looking at Sub70 but these are intriguing.

  18. Also take a look at Haywood Irons! I think you will like Haywood irons. the reviews of Takomo I have viewed, everyone seems to like!

  19. bought my takomo 101T 3 weeks ago , still waiting delivery. looking forward to get my hand on them. Asked them vis email if they help me with some basic fitting (always bought off the shelf). they ask for some infomation… what am i looking for from the irons, handicap, my carry distance with 7 iron, my height and wrist to ground measurement. recomended 101 or 101T, shaft and lie angle etc. fingers crossed…

  20. You are right about fitting. Not cheap if you get the wrong irons.
Would it be possible to change them if they are wrong for you…?

  21. Hey Matt, just wondering if these beat out your review on the Sub 70's you did 5 months ago? Sounds like they do.
