This drill has worked MIRACLES for me and all my clients, together we have STOPPED RUSHING in the downswing and hit the golf ball SO MUCH BETTER, and even more it is consistent!! I use this DOWNSWING SEQUENCE with my irons & driver to be able to hit the golf ball from the inside, and increase my driver distance and iron hitting distance! Good evening!! This my favourite downswing drill that I do all the time to really feel the start of the downswing
i call it the little pub hip bump. tiger also does it very pronounced. you can do it, throw you (back) hips into it!.

Well done alex 🏌♂️changing the subject had a golfer at the weekend fall ill on the coarse he had a cardiac arrest should all golf clubs have a defibrillator mmm it turns out the club did have one and saved his life I work for the nhs and I think all golf clubs should have one its a thought for all 👍

I try to feel that I keep my back facing the target for longer at the start of the down swing.
As you know, exactly what I’m working on. To what degree do you also advocate the feeling of the hips starting to rotate before you’ve reached the top?

I have tried this sooooo many times , the good old separation and I just can't do it. I am a decent golfer but I know this is the part of my game I am missing and just can't do it. I am a 9 handicap
Good evening (from the States anyway). New watcher and subscriber hoping to ask a question. My lower half, hips legs feel dead in the swing. I will definitely do these drills and thank you for the content but my question is how do I resolve this? I have diminshed rotation that I haven’t quite worked out how to fix.

64 years old. I just got figured this out about a month ago. Great to see it again in your video. Such an important move and allows me to feel the full extension of my arms.
It took me a long time to understand that the shoulders turn on a different plane than the hips. If you turn them as one, you'll consistently pull the ball if the clubface is square, or slice the ball if the clubface is open at impact. The key is to get a full hip turn, but keep your shoulders moving parallel to the target line. Your alignment stick drill points this out quite clearly.
